Stayed Jul 12, 2025This cottage is in a great position with lovely sea views over the Kyles of Bute and a short hop down to the shore. Inside it is bright, light and modern with everything you need provided. Outside there is a lovely garden and two seating areas for meals. We had all our meals sat outside enjoying the sunshine and the views. Everything inside and out is in an immaculate condition - simply a wonderful place to be and to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The owner Isobel was there to meet us when we arrived and gave us the warmest of welcomes with detailed information on everything within the cottage and outside. We loved everything about this cottage and the location.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024We spent a wonderful week at The Knowe with our two young children. The house was immaculate and extremely comfortable, with everything we needed (and more) provided. Isobel was verly communicative and gave us some helpful tips of things to do in the area, as well as kindly providing a cot for our youngest and toys for both the kids. The area is beautiful, so much to see and do within easy driving/ferry distance. We had a wonderful week and hope we can return again!

Stayed Jul 22, 2023Everything about our stay was wonderful. The cottage is clean, comfortable and feels like a home not a rental. The kitchen is really well equipped - even with foil and baking paper ! Isobel is really helpful and friendly. The view of the water is so peaceful - I swam everyday - and the village had all we needed. Thank you so much for a wonderful week
