Charming Beach Cottage, Less than 1 Block to Beach, Kure Pier + Food, Dog Friendly

Rental was perfect for our needs. Location was close to pier and beaches. Kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were all clean and well stocked. iTrips was very responsive to all our questions. Hope to stay there again next year and would recommend to friends and family.

Lorraine's Beach Cottage knocked it out! This home is super clean, kitchen is well stocked for any cooking/grilling you want to do. They have all types of games and puzzles. We enjoyed our visit! Literally across the street from the beach! Screened in porch was nice in the evening.

Lorraine's Beach Cottage was a great house for my family! We had 4 adults, 2 kids (7 and 4) and a senior, and everyone had plenty of room to sleep and relax at the house, with very easy access to the beach. The house is large and filled with light, and the owners (who are extremely kind and responsive) provide numerous beach amenities (cart, chairs, umbrella, cooler). The porch and hammock are especially nice for hanging out in the early morning or after the beach. And we loved being right in the middle of town. It was super fun and convenient to be able to grab the kids an ice cream after the beach, visit the pier, get a good meal in a restaurant, and enjoy the July 4 fireworks on the beach (all of which we did) with just a short walk. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for my bachelorette trip and the house exceeded my expectations!! The house was perfect and we enjoyed our stay so much! We were right near the beach, which was perfect as well! 10/10 recommend staying here! It’s just the perfect little house!

Lorraine's Cottage had plenty of room for our family of four, and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the cookware we needed. We loved having the screened porch and the location was fantastic, with super close beach access and restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. We would definitely stay again.

I can’t say enough good things about this location. Last year we stayed in the house attached to this one. We enjoyed both but this one slightly more as our kids have gotten bigger. The location is perfect! One block from the beach, restaurants, pier, and just a short drive to Carolina beach for an adventure. House very stocked and accommodating!

Wow! Can’t say enough good things about Lorraine’s Beach Cottage! It’s clean, beautifully decorated and has everything you would put in your own beach house! From a screened-in porch with a table and chairs and a hammock to a children’s play corner and a huge, well stocked kitchen with plenty of room for the family to hang out. It is conveniently located - it’s just a short block from the beach and near plenty of restaurants and activities. The spacious driveway was great especially for loading and unloading the car. Owner and property management are top notch! Highly recommended!!!

Our stay at Lorraine’s Beach Cottage was perfect! The location is very convenient to entertainment, the beach, convenience store, etc. The home is very clean and well kept. Most homes have limited and small parking, but the drive way was large enough for all vehicles and off the street to not worry about being hit. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to feel at home. We will definitely be coming back and recommending Lorraine’s to everyone.

Perfect vacation cottage for a family or small group of friends/couples. Very clean. Accommodates for every need. Kitchen is spacious and very well stocked. Screened in patio area with a comfortable hammock for enjoying peaceful evenings. Very much worth the cost for a relaxing and enjoyable cation! Highly recommend this cottage for anyone. We booked Loraines Beach Cottage for a girls trip and it was perfect. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. All necessities were provided down to a wagon, chairs, and coolers for the beach!! We are already talking about going back again next year. Kure Brach is a great place!!! Highly recommend!!!

Lorraine’s Cottage provided the perfect place for us to spend a week at Kure Beach. The space is warm and inviting, with lovely coastal decor. Everything was sparkling clean when we arrive. The place is right around the corner from a convenient store that has everything. And is a two block walk from the beach and from great restaurants. Could not have asked for a better stay.

A part of me doesn’t want y’all to know how amazing this place is because then it might be booked up when we want to come back ha! Lorraine’s Beach Cottage was PERFECT. Let’s talk location first. The quickest walk to the beach, the sweetest playground, cute local restaurants and ice cream and coffee shops. We were there the 4th of July week and expected it to be crowded, but we always got a spot on the beach with a direct view of the water and plenty of space to spread out all the things you need on the beach with a 1.5 and 3.5 year old. Super short driving distance to the coolest aquarium and in the other direction, Carolina Beach which had a much busier feel, but so many things to do and places to eat (all listed in Lorraine’s recommendation guide which is so handy!) The house itself was perfect. Plenty of space for my family of 4. My kids loved the little play area in the living room with a cute little table and lots of books, puzzles, blocks, and coloring books. The beds were so comfortable. The sheets and towels smelled so clean and fresh. The living room had the coolest little vibe to it with the cute white brick fireplace and built in bookshelves for me and my husband to bust a chill post kids bedtime and watch some Netflix and drink wine. The kitchen had all the essentials but I also 10/10 recommended just doing a Publix delivery with lots of premade stuff like we did. The host was so helpful and checked in on us frequently before our trip to make sure we had all we need prep wise. In short, it was amazing. We will be back and can’t imagine going on any other beach trip that isn’t Kure Beach and staying at Lorraine’s Beach Cottage.

We had a lovely time at the cottage, the setup was very comfortable, and the kids area was really appreciated! We loved the porch and hammock , and spent time both in and out! All bedrooms were really comfortable, and the kitchen space was great, we cooked a few nights, and the work space was really comfortable . The only suggestion I have is that a full length mirror be placed somewhere in the main house, and I would note that I believe the water discolors items, I laundered a linen blouse that came out discolored, I am sure it will wash out, but you may want to note this near the washer. On that note, all signage throughout the house and info in the book was really appreciated ! As well, response time regarding any issue sent via text was very quick and appreciated as well!

Enjoyed

There were 6 adults and a one infant, and we never felt crowded. Well equipped kitchen, Loved the coffee pot with option for full carafe of coffee or individual pots. The screened porch and hammock were great. Our granddaughter, only 3 months, loved being rocked on the hammock. It's a very short walk to the beach. Quiet side of the beach area, rarely heard anyone else while enjoying the porch. Good selection of books and games. Highly recommend.
