Charming 3* gîte near Beauval zoo and castles

It was Great with a captial G.. the hosts are so kind. They really tried to make it a nice experience for me. The place was super clean, there were beautiful plants and flowers everywhere. I loved it and would do it again:)

We had a lovely time. Very kind owners, wonderful garden and the pool was very nice. A good place to visit all the chateaux of the Loire region. And a very delicious bakery in Selles

A typical French property, with quirky touches, in both the gite and the gardens. The house was very clean and well presented, Dominque made us very welcome and was very informative about what could be experienced in the area. The visit gave us an opportunity to have a relaxing holiday and to experience a new area of France which we had not previously visited.

We had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay at this gîte in Selles sur Cher. Dominique was an excellent host & couldn’t have made us more welcome. The gîte was well equipped and very comfortable and it was lovely to be able to relax in the different areas of the garden. The plunge pool was great for cooling down in the evenings. We made good use of the bikes to explore the surrounding countryside. The Cher/ Loire Valley is a beautiful region of France to visit. We would like to return to the gîte in the future.

A lovely setting for a relaxing stay by the Cher. The gite is well equipped with a very pleasant terrace. It is a bout 5 minutes walk from the shops of Selles sur Cher, which include an excellent boulangerie/patisserie. We ate a lot of delicious cakes & croissants. The village is well placed for visiting chateaux and towns in the eastern Loire. The owners were extremely helpful & quick to fix any issues.

The cottage was so pretty and cozy, set in such a lovely garden on the banks of the river. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and provided a great recommendation for dining, even making a reservation for us. The location makes it very easy to access many interesting sites in the surrounding area, including the zoo, though we didn't take that in, due to the weather while we were there.

Lovely little gite next door to the owners who were really welcoming and helpful. You need transport as local village has limited amenities. Overall we had a very relaxing holiday.

Lovely accommodation by the river, overlooking the chateau, with many extras including use of the plunge pool and bicycles. 5 minutes walk to the town. Beautiful, peaceful garden to relax and lovely owners.

Charming cottage steps across the bridge from a typical small French village....if you are looking to experience living like a local, this is the place - away from the hustle & bustle of the main towns & cities, but close enough to get to comfortably by car. It was a very comfortable stay and felt like home.....Alain & Dominique (hosts) were extremely accommodating, warm and friendly - we were sad to leave !! Large grocery store less than 1km away, easy walk or very quick drive. Walk to boulangerie in the morning for your croissants and baguettes and delicious sweets and cakes. Great location for exploring the eastern portion of the Loire chateaux (Tours and east).

We had a super time at this property. The owners were very friendly and hospitable giving us a selection of drinks on arrival and produce from their garden. Their grounds are beautiful with many different areas to sit and relax. The cottage was ideal for two people and had everything you need if you wished to self cater. It is set on the banks of The Cher with views of the Chateau from the garden. We would definitely recommend this property.
