It was very clean and had all the amenities: soft soap dispensers, bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Plenty of towels, hand towels and washcloths…washer/dryer combo with plenty of laundry detergents and dryer sheets…plenty of cups, glasses, plates, utensils and dishwashing soap. The Safeway grocery store is only a block away so you can easily stock up on food and other necessities. The living room has a small table that I found perfect for working on with my computer. There is a television with remote, but I never turned it on.There is a cute patio with a cast iron table and four chairs: a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Also, the patio is surrounded by beautiful plants and feels like a little oasis. The casita is located behind a large house/business so that blocks any sound that may come from the street. It was extremely peaceful and quiet. There is no dedicated parking space, but I never had a problem finding off-street parking; there are plenty of spaces across and up the street. When I checked in and out, I found plenty of street parking close by so that I could easily unload and load my car.The bed is a futon-type mattress on wooden slates that I found quite comfortable. There were plenty of outlets in the bedroom, living room and kitchen so all my electronics had conveniently dedicated areas for charging.I would definitely stay here again. It is perfect for a single business professional or solo traveler.

The washer dryer did not work, the couch was cheap and not comfortable, the location is behind a 24/7 all night massage parlor and on the second to last day my apartment was almost broken into and the tenants next door were broken into and had to board up their windows with plywood abd when I reached out to the landlord during the emergency theyvweee unavailable and I had to leave in evening for a hotel because the other tenant told me the location always no longer safe. This was confirmed by VRbO and while the landlord was honest about what happened he offered only to refund my final night and did not seem to care too much about how I felt or that I found the break in and informed the other tenant. I have pictures and videos of everything including the boarding up of the windows.

We arrived and there was a big pile of linens and towels in the bedroom doorway. It took a long time to contact the owner and he didn’t seem to know we were even there. The owner arrived at least 45 minutes after our conversation with linens and towels. He didn’t offer to put the sheets on but we insisted. We didn’t pay 1000 to set up the place ourselves knowing it really wasn’t cleaned between customers. The washer and dryer was out of order and the couch was very uncomfortable and sank to spring or frame when we sat on it. It truly needs to be replaced. We bought a couple large floor cushions to help make the couch more usable without hitting the frame. Owner was going to check in the first full day, but did not.If we could have had a chance for refund for the lack of preparedness, I would have. Instead we decided to find a way to tolerate the cottage. There is a ‘ramp’ to the front door, however it was too steep if a lodger was using a wheelchair and the washer/dryer would not have been accessible, despite the sign on the gate saying it was accessible. The patio was lovely, however I won’t recommend this cottage to friends or family.Faye Militante

This place was perfect for my dog and I. It had all the amenities needed for a little getaway. Neighborhood was clean with lots of cool restaurants and shops. Cottage was a standalone unit with a lovely back patio which I pretty much had all to myself. Spoke with the owner and he's upgrading the TV to something bigger. I also experienced an issue with the dryer not working and was assured it would be fixed. The couch was a little uncomfy and not good for lying down. Would definitely stay here again.

Really nice in-law cottage with a lovely patio and garden. Close to freeway and Grand Lake Theatre, plenty of food options and a supermarket nearby. TV was a problem but Wi-Fi worked and we used our own tablets most of the time. Washer & dryer needs some knobs replaced but host was responsive & friendly about helping us find a workaround. Washed clothes just fine. Vehicle parking on street or at public lot nearby. Very nice place and I’d stay again!
