Characterful stone cottage in its own fully enclosed garden. No neighbours!

Thank you for the most wonderful stay at Cutlar’s Lodge. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home from home. The house is beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. We were especially touched by how warmly our dog was welcomed — it made our week even more special. The gardens and grounds are stunning, and with the heatwave we were able to enjoy every corner of them. The whole estate is kept to such a high standard, and the peace and quiet made it feel like we were the only people for miles. We were amazed by the wildlife we saw during our stay — red squirrels, deer, hares, and even a seal that popped up while we were swimming from the gorgeous coastline. It was magical. Our older kids absolutely loved the games room, and as a family we’ve made memories here that we’ll treasure. Thank you for creating such a special place. We can’t wait to return.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Orroland. It is a beautiful and peaceful location with enjoyable evening walks in the grounds and down to the shoreline. The house is delightful, comfortable and well-equipped. This has provided a very relaxing stay, helped by the beautiful spring weather. There is much to do locally with the digital guidebook providing all you need to know.

We have been coming to Orroland for 21 years and it never fails to deliver. Even though we didn't have the best weather we still managed to have a much needed relaxing break with a few great walks in between the rain. The cottage was, as always, clean and comfortable with everything we needed provided. We can't wait to go back again

Second time at Cutlar’s Lodge and we loved it just as much as the first time around. Not the cheapest place to stay but I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for and for us that’s the absolute tranquility you get a Orroland. A genuine feeling of relaxation with some absolutely stunning scenery and wildlife literally outside the door. Accessible for nearby villages and towns and the lodge itself is clean, well stocked, well organised with some stunning artwork to boot. Highly recommend the place and we will return in the future.

This is a lovely part of the world and a beautiful estate to stay in. Secluded gardens and great space for our dogs. Unfortunately, going in July meant that we were constantly attacked by midges and hose flies. Around the lake it was unbearable and even walking up the road of an evening was pretty dreadful. They just ruined our stay.

Had a fantastic stay at this beautiful holiday cottage. Set near the coast with fresh air, lovely gardens, and a tranquil lake, it was the perfect place to unwind. The cottage is tastefully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and extremely well equipped—everything you could possibly need was right there. The bed was super comfy, and every detail made it feel like a real home away from home. We left feeling refreshed and already planning next visit!

I can’t recommend the lodge enough. The location is perfect; quiet in lovely grounds and close to the sea. The lodge itself is like a home from home, with everything needed for a comfortable stay and immaculately clean.

We’ve come back to this property many times over the years, because it is ideally suited to all our needs.

We have just had a wonderful break staying in Cutlar’s Lodge. The house is in a fabulous location with stunning grounds to enjoy. There are nice walks including beaches and countryside on your door step. The Lodge is stylish, roomy and very comfortable. We hope to make a return next year. Faultless.
