A characterful stone built traditional detached cottage, on one level set in a quarter of an acre of grounds, in a rural location with two other cottages close by. The cottage sleeps 5 in one king size, one twin and one single bedroom. It is a mile from child friendly Newport sands and Newport's exceptional 18 hole Golf course. For keen walkers the coastal path can be accessed from Newport sands. Due to the rural location a car is needed unless you are very keen walkers/cyclists.

Stayed Nov 15, 2025An amazing place to stay cosy and most welcoming and welcoming gifts, everything you need and more, the log burner for me amazing. The views are one of the best. Would definitely recommend it the peace and quiet. It’s was amazing to learn about the history of the building.

Stayed Sep 8, 2025Lovely property in a great location for Newport and other locations in the West and Southwest of Wales. Very quiet, well equipped, private, plenty of outside space.We found the main bed to be uncomfortable but that sort of thing is very subjective and no mattress is suitable for everyone. Because there was just the two of us we changed room part way through the stay.

Stayed Feb 28, 2025We spent just under a week in the cottage, it was beautiful, there was all we could need and more, fully stocked (including good knives which is so rare in rentals), the bed we used was very comfortable and the cottage stayed really cosy. We really appreciated the log burner in the evenings and how conveniently it is located an easy walk (or drive) into the village and lots of routes to run whatever distance you feel up to.

Stayed Feb 25, 2025We wanted somewhere to relax and explore parts of Pembrokeshire we normally don’t get to. Also wanted somewhere that would slow the kids down to enjoy some time as a family. This place is perfect for that. The house itself promotes the simple things and encourages reading and games. All the things a modern family craves.the owners family love for the place is evident throughout in small but unmissable detail. Thank you Ann and family for sharing this beautiful house.

Stayed May 3, 2024My family enjoyed very much in this house. Ann provided all things you need and also welcome basket. The decoration is extremely stunning with all antiques around you. If you like vintage style, you should love this house. Also the view is beautiful, it is good place to view the sunset. It has a big rear and back garden. Highly,recommended.
