Stayed Apr 17, 2023Unfortunately the property was not cleaned properly prior to our arrival, with unclean bathrooms, floors and sheets. However, the owners were very responsive and most issues were fixed within 24 hours.

Stayed Oct 18, 2024Hi, We had another lovely weekend in Goolwa. It is a pleasure to stay in Captain's Quarters. There were a couple of things this time. A broken wine glass in the cupboard. Removed and placed in bin. The ensuite toilet partially blocked. There was a sanitary pad stuck in the toilet. We managed to remove and dispose of. Problem solved. Stayed Oct 8, 2024Wonderfully located cottage, clean and well-appointed for a relaxing break away. Great for families. Easy check in, convenient off-street parking and lots of tourist information made available from the hosts. We slept great in super comfy beds. The Simpsons game and the complimentary bottle of red wine were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing spa bath too. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Stayed Jan 15, 2024This property was a joy to spend time in. The great features are: close proximity to everything, modern features internally, Wifi and smart TV's, Comfy beds, clean and tidy, coffee machine, ample supplies and toiletries provided. A small thing to mention: stairs are very steep and 2 of the bedrooms are upstairs (with both bathrooms downstairs). We had 2 younger children who we eventually had sleeping in the master bedroom downstairs as we were worried they would wake in the night and fall down the stairs! Perhaps a baby gate for the top of the stairs, available to those who need it could solve this? Otherwise, a beautiful little place that felt like home - will definitely be back! Thank you!

Stayed Oct 20, 2023Captains Cottage is a very comfortable place to stay. Close to main street and wharf area. Once again we enjoyed our stay. Well equipped spacious cottage with comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.
