Cedar-tiled Cottage in own Garden, in Grounds of Nearby Owner's House

We had an amazing time the property was in an excellent location. Everything you needed was there especially in the kitchen. Although it was a very old cottage with lots of character it was spotless clean, warm and comfortable. We felt there were some outstanding qualities like views , patio doors to garden from bedroom that wasn't mentioned on booking. Which was a pity. We loved our stay and would recommend the cottage to our friends who love to visit the new forest. Sandra

The cottage is clean and well equipped . It took a while to get it to be cosy as the heating was complicated and in my opinion difficult to follow . Not all the electric sockets worked . It would have been helpful to have had a separate sheet of paper explaining where to find the gas heater’s controls and how to operate them ( it took me half an hour to find them on a cold wet Friday )

The host was very communicative , the directions to the place were very precise and helpful. Everything was as described and welcoming. It was very clean and cosy . We would love to stay again. Although very close to the owners main house it doesn't feel intrusive . It is in a perfect position to enjoy the New Forest.

Positives - Andrew was very welcoming. The cottage is in a lovely location direct access to the New forest. Everything you need in the kitchen and lounge to make your stay comfortable, you can see the owners have taken care to make this a very cosy stay. Beds were very comfortable.Downside - Getting down to the cottage parking was quite upsetting as the hedge had enough depth to be cut back further, but the first time we went down the little entrance the hedging put a nasty scratch on our our car. Sorry Andrew but my husband had to snap the offending bits off. Will definitely be revisiting if after our comment we would be welcome.

What an amazing location this little find is! The kitchen had everything you would need and customer service from Andrew was above and beyond.

Lovely cottage , everything we needed, lovely setting near several lovely villages and lovely pubs . Would go again , driveway was slightly tight for my van but we managed. Thankyou Andrew

This is the perfect spot for exploring The New Forest and surrounding areas. Cottage is homely and cosy, has everything you need and owner very friendly and helpful. Would happily book again. Thank you

A wonderful location, and a very helpful owner, but the property needs some renovation and refurbishment if we were to use it again.

Quaint cottage, well equipped. very comfy beds. Owner was very helpful and on hand if required. The cottage isn't easily accessible if you have a very large car as drive to cottage is very narrow. There is a cattle grid at the entrance which was a little tricky walking out with the dog. Great location for everything plus fairly local pubs
