Cavalier Cottage at Ruby Dog on B

Very nice place. Convenient to the ocean. Fit our needs (that is to say our small Westies) need very well. Owner was very welcoming.

The location is fantastic and Morgan was super responsive!

Our stay at Cavalier Cottage at Ruby Dog on B was excellent. We really enjoyed the house — it was comfortable, well maintained, and exactly as described. The location is also great, making it easy to get around St. Augustine.Morgan was a wonderful host: very attentive, helpful, and quick to respond, which made our stay even better.Our dogs also had a great time, and having a pet-friendly place made the experience perfect for our family. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily stay here again.

Great cottage with everything you need. Easy beach access and within walking distance to lots of restaurants. Great fenced front and backyard for pets.

Morgan was an outstanding host. There is a reason he has so many 5 star reviews. A beautiful open layout, bright and cheery, just like in the pictures. Very close to the beach, about a 2 minute walk. Cindy and I highly recommend!

This place is great. The location is central and lively, but still quiet. We walked to dinner most nights. The house is cute and pretty comfortable. I loved the reading chair in the living room. The stairs were a little precarious, but we adapted. I was afraid upstairs would be hot, but the fans provided plenty of cool air. The host was communicative and responsive. Thanks for mailing back the items we left behind! We will be back!

This is the perfect place for us. Close to beach and restaurants. The dog loves it too.

We’ve been staying at Ruby Dog on B since 2018… it is our home away from home!

We have stayed at this property several times. Each time it’s like returning home (away from home). Morgan, the property manager, is very welcoming and a perfect host. The cabin has everything you might need. And is very comfortable. Just a hop over the dunes to the beach. We have already made our reservations for next year.

Perfect location couldn’t love that beach anymore

We stayed for a month at this very stylish cottage. The overall effect of many windows and open space was inviting. The bedroom upstairs was useless to us as it had a set of ladder stairs( go down backwards) and no bathroom up there. So not really practical. The bedroom downstairs is very small with no window that opened and no dresser/bedside drawers. So we basically lived out of our suitcases. Even a dresser in the main room would have worked. We did ask but no luck with that request. It may have been out of Morgan’s hands. As was the 2 weeks of exterior painting that took place right outside our windows while we were there. The inside was clean, towels and linen were nice quality but pillows were not comfortable (I prefer down alternative to rectangular foam). The outside could have been so pleasant. It needs some TLC in terms of cleaning the outdoor chairs (mold growing) and fence repair. What had been done was make shift. Morgan was do responsive and did what he could to do what we asked. But unfortunately the stay was less than perfect for the above reasons. We enjoyed our stay primarily because the location is perfect! Beach walks morning and night and restaurants within easy walking distance. We would recommend this cottage highly with a bit more attention to detail. Pam and Jack

We love the Cavalier Cottage!!! This was our 4th year returning, with plans to come back again. Our dogs love the beach. Such a great atmosphere for a wonderful stay every time. Completely recommend!

The cottage is a perfect beach stay house. We will return! And Morgan the property manager is so good to work with. AND there is a yard if you are a dog family. All around ?

Perfect beach cottage! Location is great as you can easily access the beach as well as the main roadway for grocery and restaurants! Space is very dog friendly as the cottage has a fenced front and back yard.

My wife and I stayed for our anniversary. Great location for walking to the beach. The included chairs and beach towels were very handy since we had to fly to get there. Lots of nearby eating and drinking options within a block or two. Nice quiet street right off the main road. Private yard with fences and large plants/landscaping. We will certainly stay again if we ever return to St. Augustine for vacation.
