The location of this property is incomparable, very close to the Natural Park Montaña Colorada and the National Park Teide, in the only municipality in the world recognized with a Starlight Certification as an Astronomical Tourist Destination, being one of the best places in the world to observe the night skies, together with a relevant history about the beginnings of high mountain astronomy. Starlight destinations, which are sponsored by organizations as relevant as UNESCO, are defined as places of great interest for the contemplation of the day and night sky, as an essential part of nature. Not only are there spectacular views of the sea and the pine-strewn mountains, but also absolute privacy and tranquility. Large outdoor areas with several terraces, a swimming pool that measures 3.50 x 5.50 m (unheated), and a barbecue area at the back of the house, all for you to enjoy many hours of outdoor leisure. The impressive glass enclosed, rear terrace converted into a large gathering area offers enjoyment during the summer and winter. Stargazing below the glass roof at any temperature is possible. The upper floor has an open bedroom, which like the rest of the area, has impressive views of nature.The house is rustic in style, combining natural stone with noble woods and modern components to guarantee maximum comfort. There is free WIFI throughout the house. It is rented as a single unit and guests will enjoy it exclusively, enjoying absolute privacy. It is composed of 3 individual studios, so depending on the number of people who reserve the house, the various sections will be made available. The main apartment consists of a cozy living room with SAT-TV and sofa bed, a large bedroom with 2 single beds on the upper floor as well as a bathroom with shower. There is also a large fully equipped main kitchen, which serves all guests and which is accessed through this apartment. It also has access to a front terrace with breathtaking views of the pool, the sea and the mountains. The second apartment is attached to the first, being very similar and sharing the front terrace. It consists of a living room with sofa bed and a small auxiliary kitchen, as well as a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower, on the upper floor. The third apartment is at the rear of the house and also has a small living room with sofa bed, large bedroom on the top floor and a bathroom with a bathtub. The laundry room is also located separate at the back of the house. The sustainability of the house is fundamental, being absolutely respectful of the environment, without sacrificing any comfort from the house. All electrical energy is generated by 22 solar panels so that there is zero CO2 emissions. An off-grid system of inverters and chargers, together with 48 battery elements guarantee 24-hour supply. The energy required for heating the home as well as the domestic hot water is supplied through solar collectors and 500 liter tanks. In addition, there is a biological septic tank for water collection, where the purification of all the water generated in the home occurs before its incorporation into the environment. Even the tap water of the house is drinkable and comes directly from galleries and springs of Teide with a suitable mineral content. The area of Cruz de Tea is important in vineyards and farms of ecological production, respectful with the environment. For the characteristics of the house, make it ideal for groups of friends or relatives who want to travel and enjoy activities together, without having to give up their privacy. For families with children, the sofa beds are available in the living rooms so that they can stay in the same apartment. For those who like hiking there are many routes that lead directly from the house or in the immediate vicinity, without having to use a car for the starting point. It is an ideal accommodation for individual travelers, lovers of nature who seek tranquility and privacy, away from the large resorts.

It is expressly forbidden to hold events and parties, as well as the access of people not listed in the reservervation. It is also requested to respect the neighbours, not making noise from 22.00h. onwards.

    Amazing location. Just absolutely amazing. Silence, well away from the unfortunate image Tenerife has, this is a find. Well recommended.

    Thought about this a lot to be fair with the rating and feedback.The positives:- Very quiet and isolated - amazing views and very quiet area- Huge amount of space - was a massive house- Well equipped generally - good kitchen and bbq was nice- Was clean (outside of laundry room which smelled of ammonia)The challenges:- Very isolated - 20 minutes to nearest supermarket, very narrow winding roads to the property, some tricky driving needed (especially at night)- Stairs and access to rooms were very difficult to use in places - would NOT be ok for anyone with any mobility issues or very young children- Pool - do not use photos from listing, look at google maps - difficult to tell the pool is a small wooden structure rather than attached to the house from the pictures providedOverall we did enjoy it, but it was a learning experience.

    More like a hostel. (I am an advanced driver). Be warned about the 35 minute drive up the mountain. The property wifi is flaky. The room smelled of feet. Shower and kitchen tap cold. Toaster broken. Other issues. Abad experience with the agent also. They are extremely unpleasant to deal with.

    Highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer. We booked this property to relax with family and friends (3 couples and 3 children). We loved that it was quiet and peaceful. The property is quite large, and had everything we needed. It was a little hot in some of the bedrooms in the summer we were there, but we wouldn't trade the property for anywere else. It's a single lane and winding road to reach, 15 minutes out of town, but that was part of the appeal for us. The closest beach, El Médano, is the best beach of the 3-4 that we tried too.

    Die Lage abseits vom Massentourismus ist ein Traum. Hierfür nimmt man gerne die 30Min Fahrt von der Küste ins Hinterland in Kauf und begibt sich auf die abenteuerliche Straße in die Berge. Der Blick und die Einsamkeit belohnt diesen Weg. Wir würden uns immer wieder so entscheiden. Durch die Heizkörper kann das Haus auch an kühleren Tagen schnell geheizt werden und für sonnigere Tage stehen genug Außenmöbel für einen entspannten Urlaub zur Verfügung. Wenn man mit mehreren Personen anreist würde eine Spülmaschine das Leben vor Ort noch vereinfachen. Für die Anfahrt benötigt man gute Nerven, die Straße ist recht eng.
