Casa Azul/Charming Downtown Casita

Casa Azul is centrally located: less than a 10-minute walk to Toas' Plaza. It was charming and it was clear that whoever designed the interior paid a lot of attention to details. She even had coffee and coffee filters available. Only complaint: the operation of the TV was confusing, and we were unable to ever get it to work properly. I would, however, highly recommend Casa Azul. Our stay was delightful.

A charming, spacious apartment! The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was a comfortable height. Nice, private patio.walking distance to the plaza.

This was such a perfect place for my stay! It was walking distance to the Hanuman Temple. An added bonus was the courtyard! So peaceful.

Melisa was a wonderful hostess! The property was beautiful and clean and exactly as advertised. The pups absolutely loved the enclosed back yard and my little fur girl enjoyed running in circles from the yard through the living room, kitchen, bedroom and back out to the yard. It is rare when both humans and dogs can find pleasure in the same spaces. The location was ideal - walking distance to the square and other local attractions and easy access to get out to the ski resorts and national forest for hikes and fun outings. Thank you for making us feel at home and so easy! We will be repeat customers in the future.

We had originally booked Casa Azul, but accidentally booked the wrong dates. When I contacted Melissa she was very understanding and graciously offered one of her other properties, Casita Juliet, that was available. The space was delightful, and even closer to the event we were attending. We would definitely book with Melissa again.

It has everything you need. Great for pets and can walk everywhere. Very cute!

Spent a splendid week and a half at Casa Azul — a very special place! Mere blocks from Taos Plaza, yet very quiet and private. All modern appliances in kitchen and bathroom, with lovely design touches throughout. Beautiful and large back patio. Melissa is very helpful and responsive. I can’t recommend Casa Azul more highly and would definitely stay there again!

A totally relaxing and fun stay. A quiet neighborhood on an ultra-quiet street. Within easy walking distance to the plaza for great eats and to a grocery store. Casa Azul is small, but just right for two adults and a boxer dog who enjoyed herself as much as we did. A clean, comfortable and well-stocked dog-friendly home away from home.

Its location was perfect, a couple of minutes walk from the plaza and the shops and the Main Street through Taos. The property was a lovely older casita. It was nicely decorated with really nice back yard. The appliances were old but worked fine. Melissa was incredibly responsive and helpful with the few questions we had. My only reservation was that the bed seemed small, even for a queen, and the mattress was OK, at best. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay and visit Taos.

This is an adorable cozy property just a 10 minute walk to downtown Taos. It is quirky, beautiful, comfortable with a lovely outside space for enjoying the season. Don’t be a fool , rent this place!!!

Loved our stay! Very cute accommodations and close to everything. Melissa has a knack for decorating and made the space so cozy and welcoming! Will definitely return to Taos!

We enjoyed our short stay at the condo. The courtyard was perfect! We were able to walk to restaurants and the plaza so it was very convenient.

We stayed in Casa Azul for two nights. Melissa has thought of everything—or doggie used the do blankets, we enjoyed the yard and the short walk to the square. Taos is a great place to visit and this property was darling.

Everything was as advertised. Good for a family of 2 or 3. Within walking distance from the square. Nice stay!

This place is definitely as advertised. Quiet, nice area. We were able to walk to dinner. Owner was responsive and accomodating. It'll be our first choice again next winter.

Melissa has created/curated a lovely casita in the heart of Taos. Easy walking distance to the plaza with all the shops and restaurants. Casita was very clean and cozy.
