Stayed Oct 30, 2025We had great stay. We were in town for the Head of the Hooch regatta. The house was a perfect spot within five minutes of the venue. The attention to detail and the little touches were wonderful. The neighborhood also made for a safe place for my daughter to trick or treat and really enjoy Halloween. Neighbors that we talked to were very helpful and gave local advice were to venture out.

Stayed Jul 24, 2025We had a fabulous time at carousel cottage. Such a cute home and perfect for our group of 4. We have visited Chattanooga the past 4 years and stayed somewhere different every time. This was by far our favorite place to stay. Any girls or family would love to stay at this house. So many extras to accommodate families.

Stayed Feb 28, 2025We had a great stay at Jenny’s Carousel house! It was very cute, with fun decor. Great views from the kitchen window, day and night. We enjoyed the air hockey table downstairs and the fireplace was so cozy at night when we were winding down after being out and about all day. Jenny was an excellent host, with speedy responses and helpful resolutions when I had questions. Grocery stores were very closeby by car and lots of fun stuff to do in the area, like Rock City and Signal Mountain. Thanks Jenny!

Stayed Dec 21, 2024We loved this cozy cottage for a short Christmas get away! It is in a quiet and friendly neighborhood yet accessible to everything we wanted to do in Chattanooga. We could easily walk to the Walnut street bridge and across the river. We also walked to the nearby Aretha Frankenstein restaurant for breakfast on Christmas Eve! Loved playing Christmas music on the record player! Perfect for us!

Stayed Oct 11, 2024House was perfect size for 3 adults and 2 kids! Love how quiet the neighborhood was and the size of the backyard was perfect for kids to play while we sat and watched! The location was great and we were close to everything including town if you needed to grab something. Kitchen was good to cook a home meal at the end of exploring then gather around the fireplace and play games or find a good movie. Love the old feel charm of the house including the refrigerator and claw foot tub/shower. Our favorite spot at the end of the day was the front porch it was screened in with a swing and small couch and the kids played in the small front yard which I liked where they couldn't get in the road. Also at the end of the road there was a small park at the community center where you could walk to for extra options if you have kids. Definitely recommend for any family to stay if you're wanting to explore downtown Chattanooga, we had the best experience all around and definitely planning another trip soon!! The house was clean and they had it stocked so if you needed something and forgot it stuff was there for use! They responded with any questions and kept up to date with the rental including clear instructions on parking and how to get in the house! The host was just as exceptional as the house! Definitely hope this house stays booked you definitely won't regret the experience!!

Stayed Jul 1, 2024This was a great little getaway house for our family with 2 small kids. Close enough to walk to all the North Shore shops and restaurants and easy drive to Aquarium and downtown. Or we could just walk around the neighborhood. So many great games and board games provided, that was especially fun. Thank you!

Stayed May 17, 2024The house was well maintained and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (paper towels, foil, salt/pepper, pots/pans, plastic bags, etc.). We truly only had to buy food and drinks during our stay. There were games and books to entertain a 2 year old in between outings. We loved the swing and outdoor scrabble board on the screened in front porch! We appreciated the easy to control temperature and there was a fan in the main bedroom that we used for white noise. The house was within 20 minutes of Rock City and Tennessee Valley Railroad and 5 minutes from Coolidge Park.
