Got to see cows munch past the porch and see the geese drama in the pond. Well set up kitchen out door charcoal grill. My complaints were minor: the main bed was too soft and no wi-fi. Several fun places to go to and to eat.
Very peaceful and clean property The pond is visible from the screened in deck Cows are meandering Kitchen is very well appointed, if you like to cook, which we really enjoyed
Just perfect
We stayed here over the Christmas holiday. All in all we cover 3 states and wanted to be closer to our family in PA. The kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to make Christmas dinner. All we had to do was provide the food. The views were great. Our hosts were readily available to answer questions and tell us about the area. We all agreed that this might be a good place to come in the spring or summer for another family get together. Thanks for everything, Marci and Don!
The home was great. Spacious and cozy. The screened in porch was inviting. The land is beautiful. We saw various wildlife.
Our experience was great. The cottage was very clean and the views were awesome. 4 of us were in town for a 60th birthday party 2 moms and 2 adult daughters. The layout was great for cooking and just catching up. Especially liked morning coffee on the screened porch. I Would absolutely recommend this place and I would definitely stay here again. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had.?
The Farm was a beautiful and comfortable home away from home. The home was conveniently laid out. The beds were very comfortable. The screened in back porch was the highlight! We watched the cows and squirrels and deer even came by. Everyone loved ringing the bell! The Farm was very convenient to restaurants and stores and to the rest of our family. We would love to stay here the next time we make the trip up from Tennessee. The hosts were gracious and answered our questions immediately. Thank you for a great visit! Linda and family
Used the facility at night only as we were working during the day. Very clean, delightful owners, and if I could rate the entire experience, it would be over the top in every way. Count yourself lucky if you are able to stay there.
Even though it was a short stay. We enjoyed ourselves and loved the atmosphere. The folks that live in the towns nearby were super friendly. We will make a trip back to The Farm in the very near future. Thank you
Really enjoyed the piece and quiet. Did three days of antiquing. Plenty of places to eat for being out in the country. Found an all you can eat crab shack that was fantastic.
We were extremely pleased with this property. Very private and quiet. Everything we needed was there and everything was in good working order. We did antiquing in the area and it was also very good. Perfect for three to four adults who just want to decompress. We would use this property again.
This was our second stay at the farm. Beautiful property and house. The grandchildren are already asking when we're coming back! Thank you Marcie for sharing your farmhouse with us!
Very quiet and clean cottage. We enjoyed having a spacious cottage for relaxation and cooking.
We had a wonderful time at this quiet country retreat. The covered and screened porch is the main draw and is set up perfectly for gathering. The view of the fields and pond very relaxing. With no internet and no cable, talking and reading are the main source of entertainment. Don’t worry there is still cell service. The house is very clean and everything is provided….even coffee pods, shampoo, and soap. The kitchen has what you need to cook a nice meal. I have been renting homes through VRBO for over a decade and this house is exceptional. The owner was very responsive and helpful.
Great!
This is worth every penny. Such a good example of Pa’s beauty.
It was a special place!!! The location was beautiful, peaceful farmland in PA, what more can I say. The manager was amazing, providing us everything we could ask for. Quick to respond, ready to help!!! As far as the house... talk about stocked!!! There was really SPARP knives (I am a knife snob, so I know). Kitchen had pots and pans and everything you would every need! House was impeccable clean!!! Not one negative thing I can say. Except it was FREEZING and WINDY the entire stay. But they can't control the weather. We just sat in our warm home, had tea and looked out at the landscape. I would definitely go again and recommend others to go as well.
