Bright, Sunny Oceanfront Beach Cottage in Santa Barbara!

Laura is most accommodating. She is delightful to deal with. The ocean front location is truly amazing. A very good stay.

We had the best time here. This is our second time we’ve been able to stay in this beautiful home. The view is amazing and every detail of the house is creatively decorated, clean and comfortable. We hope to visit again!

House is poorly maintained and dirty. The views are spectacular and make this an OK stay.

This is an old cottage that makes you feel right at home. Amazing views and easy location to get to anything you need.The owner was very quick to get to me when a branch broke off the big tree. She had it cleaned up the next day. She is super nice and very easy to deal with.Bring your sunscreen and enjoy the deck and view.

Lara is a great communicator and check in was a breeze. The location of the cottage is a beautiful bluff above the beach. The cottage was comfortable with everything you need to stay tucked in for the day or easily go back and forth to town. The cottage needs a few repairs (some single pane cracked windows in the master bedroom) but is otherwise very lovely and comfortable. The clothes drier needed repairs while we were there and Lara kept us informed and was available by phone. It was a memorable weekend and I will definitely book it again!

Amazing location—felt like we were hovering above the ocean, and also so close to great restaurants and fun on Shoreline and State streets.

My wife and I stayed here with our three adult children in late April. Beach cottage is a bit of an understatement! Here's a list of things we enjoyed most about this Vrbo:- Laura is a friendly, responsive host- Great location and *stunning* views (several dolphin sightings from the deck)- Close to grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants- Lots of outdoor seating- Plenty of towels and linens- Extra throws/blankets in the living room- Ping pong table in the garage- Did I mention dolphin sightings? :-)

We would stay there again and again!

Cozy cottage on a bluff overlooking the ocean. Spectacular views and great location, with easy access to downtown Santa Barbara and Montecito. Lots of great wineries for day trips. Highly recommend.

Perfect location—near beach access, restaurants, grocery. The outdoor space is perfect to sit and watch the sun set while dolphins swim by. Very private. Easy walk to parks or hiking spots. Views for days.

We went to SB for my son’s wedding to get away from busy down town , took only 13 minutes by car . Messa is a cute town everything you need is walkable distance , food booze , restaurants , conscience stores . The view of pacific is memorizing , perfect sunsets ,. Perfect patie !

This place lives up to everything you’ve seen & read. Absolutely will not disappoint. Loved our stay, & host Laura had perfect communication. Our 35th anniversary was made even more special by staying here. Hope to return soon!

The two patios/decks and the panoramic views are the crown jewels of this beachside property atop a bluff overlooking the Channel Islands. A blend of sun and shade shifts during the day adding to the comfort and calm of the serene setting. Beach access is steps and stairs away (just down the street and down 240 stairs), but we preferred the family friendly Hendry’s Beach down Cliff Drive. The house is a short drive from downtown Santa Barbara and many local attractions. A delivery of new patio cushions arrived on our first day to replace a set that was older and dirty. This demonstrated to us that the owner is attentive to guests and their experiences. The house is comfortable with open views and lots of daylight. The interior is a blend of comfort and some slightly outdated items, but you don’t stay in a property like this to remain indoors. It definitely had enough amenities to feel like a home away from home. We were extremely satisfied and would stay here again. Highly recommended!

The views are stunning and cottage cute and outside areas perfect.

This property is amazing! It was the perfect size for our party of 4 adults and 2 children. The location and view are unbeatable. There is a large yard that includes a beautiful deck, grassy area and separate brick patio all looking over the ocean. Bring your binoculars (one pair was provided) because we spotted dolphins every day of our stay. The home is in a quiet residential area with perfect streets for walking. The closest beach is down a long staircase so we chose to drive just a few minutes down the road to a larger beach. The house is well maintained and well stocked. Communication with the owner was excellent. Beaches, downtown shops and restaurants, the zoo and the mission were all just a short drive from the home. We look forward to booking this home again!
