A wonderful cosy, quirky cottage, deep in the Kent countryside. Ideal location for walking dog owners, a couple looking for a romantic break or friends. Perfect for a short winter break. Lovely log burner. Relaxing and peaceful. A word of warning, very steep stairs. Felt like we were on a boat at times as the floors upstairs slope so much. This place has real character though and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, seeing the New Year in. Highly recommend.

We've used Bloom Stays several times over the last 18 months or so. I've always had a wonderful and attentive experience using them for short breaks to Kent. Nothing is too much trouble. Their communications is fantastic and the team there really know how to look after you and their accommodations. Will be booking again soon! Thank you.

The cottage was in a lovely quiet location, and perfectly located for exploring. Our main reason for visiting was to visit some of the zoos Kent has to offer and this was perfectly located for this, as we visited Port Lympne, Howletts, Wingham and Wildwood Kent during our stay. Really nice to have a property with a garden too. Lovely place.

What a beautiful historic cottage - We stayed for seven nights and it was an amazing experience. The cottage is so quaint but has been renovated to include all the comforts you could required. All the furniture and bedding was of the highest standard with everything you could require. We will definitely be staying again - outstanding!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Bonnington Cottage. The house and the locale is beautiful. This is the one place I can come and truly switch off from the world! We were looked after by the wonderful team at Bloom Stays who are always attentive and quick to reply to questions. We will be staying again very soon hopefully!

We had another relaxing stay at Bonnington Cottage - our second visit since Christmas! A lovely period cottage with mod cons. The property is easily accessed and situated in the beautiful Kent countryside with plenty of walks within a stones throw. The dogs loved it too! It won’t be long before we’re back there again.

We absolutely loved the house and the garden. The beds were super comfortable, and we greatly appreciated the many fruits and other food and drink offers. The only bad experience was we didn't receive the email with the code to the key box (which we didn't know existed), and so were expecting to be welcomed by a house manager, who happened to be away and with really bad reception. We spent a good 30 minutes with our kids in the rain, trying to figure out how to get in, and even thinking it was all a scam (!) when we happened to check our spam box. There it was, the instructions and code to the key. This could have been avoided if the communication was made via Abritel. Anyway, everything was perfect from there on, including the communication with the house manager. Would stay again!

I booked Bonnington Cottage knowing it was old and full of character and it didn't disappoint. The cottage was comfortable with an excellent log burner and the central heating was efficient, both needed in February. On arrival we both thought the fruit bowl was plastic! But it was all fresh fruit; 3 types of grapes, oranges, apples, pears, bananas and even a full pineapple. The location is ideal for touring both the coast and inland of Kent and we'd recommend Canterbury, Walmer Castle and Whitstable and Broadstairs and Dover Castle. Goodneston Gardens worth a visit and all the walks around the estate. There's lots of local pubs serving good beer and food, Griffin's Head in Chillenden and a bit further The Mermaid in Bishopsbourne. Gibson's Farm Shop has an excellent choice of fresh fruit and veg., bread and cakes and various meals. Would recommend so long as you appreciate this is a very old cottage!

We spent a lovely week at Bonnington cottage. It is convenient for visiting all the seaside towns. The location of the cottage is really quiet and peaceful, the walk down the lane to the village is beautiful and Goodnestone gardens are a must visit. The cottage has everything required, comfortable bed, good shower, hot water, fully stocked kitchen for cooking. We sat out in the garden most of the time as the weather was good, the seating was comfortable.
