Blue Ridge Blowing Rock Farmhouse at Doe Creek, Hot Tub, Pond, Acres to Explore! Close to App Ski Mtn!

The property was spacious and well equipped. The location was good with town being close but the property still feeling secluded. However, the home was very dirty and if you have a pet you need to watch out for lots of goose and deer droppings.

This was such a nice place for our family to have a reunion. We definitely may come back

The house was great for a large or extended family. My youngest grandkids loved sleeping in the bunks in the game room and Pac-Man was an added bonus. The kitchen was well outfitted with dishes, pots and pans and the outside was peaceful and fun.

We got more snow than expected while visiting and the host was very nice and hospitable. They let us stay a bit late to let the roads clear up and prioritized our safety. Host was responsive and provided emergency contact as well. The accommodated our large group with dogs very well and we appreciate it!

The farmhouse was perfect for our family and the property with the pond was beautiful.

We fell in love with this quaint and charming farmhouse. It was the perfect set-up for a getaway with our teenage son and a few of his friends. The kids had their separate space with lots of fun entertainment options, while the adults enjoyed quiet evenings by the fireplace. The property is beautiful and in a perfect location - Boone and Blowing Rock are close by. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. And no list of chores to be done before check-out?!? Love this! We definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Perfect for a family get away and a weekend at Tweetsie. Would definitely book it again for a family trip. The house is full of old farmhouse charm but with perfect renovations.

What a fun place to stay! The farmhouse is so charming, so plenty of room for two families with kids. Fishing, firepit, and hot tub were plenty to keep us busy in between baseball games. We were in town for a baseball tournament at ASU. This house was perfectly located to both Boone and Blowing Rock. The house managers were so very kind! Highly recommend!

We own a tree company and rented this house for our crew to stay while doing work in the area. It was absolutely beautiful. It has everything you could think of needing and the views are amazing.

We came in for an overnight trip with family for my dads 75th birthday. The house was good. It was cute and good for a relaxing overnight trip. The check in was easy and the host was good about responding. We were super bummed the hot tub wasn't working right the heating element wasn't working. When we looked closer at the water it was extremely dirty. It had not been cleaned and definitely showed. I hate saying anything about it, but we was looking forward to that so that was disappointing.

For over 1200, expected this property to live up to its 10/10 review rating but it did not. Had several issues and started trying to contact the person we were told to contact (Joel) on Friday before check in. Texted him, as instructed several times and NEVER heard back. Replies from Dylan (host) seemed to by AI generated and ignored my questions and concerns. House was dirty (rugs, dishes, silverware, table top, mirror); wet clothes in washer and dryer full; no ice maker; goose poop absolutely everywhere including the entry porch and parking area; remote in front living room doesn't work; no dishwasher detergent; dirty bowl in dishwasher. Contact name/number provided was completely unresponsive all 3 days. House is in a great location and quiet. Beautiful lake in backyard but all walking areas covered in goose poop. House is spacious and could be fantastic but needs to be cleaned well and contacts need to be responsive to guests. Very disappointed as this house came highly rated. Makes me wonder about VRBO reviews or if the house management has changed hands.

Gorgeous property! A little closer to the road that I would’ve thought, but not much traffic on it. The beds were large and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the bunkbed game room. My sister rented one of the smaller houses as well. We plan on staying here again!

Even better than the pictures. A lot of space, very comfortable beds, blankets and pillows. Would 100% recommend if you’re staying in the blowing rock or Boone area. It’s a very easy quick drive to both.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious but cozy at the same and very nicely decorated. We had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. The property is beautiful and the location was perfect for our visit to Appalachian State for a concert. We are already making plans to return.

We had 3 moms and all of our sons stay for a ski trip. We loved having a place to stay where our kids could hang out together. The cabin was great! Lots of room inside and a fun property to explore outside. It was also covered in snow and so pretty!

We have stayed in many houses in the NC mountains, but never one with a location as good as this. We saved a lot of driving time because parks, shopping and attractions were so close. The furniture and beds were really comfortable. The house and grounds were private. There were ample sheets, towels, pans, pots, etc.

Group loved the charm and location of the Farmhouse! We’ll be back for a longer stay in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage with family! The bunk room was a huge hit and the whole family ended up in there every night enjoying the cozy setup and games. The other bedrooms were very comfortable and everything was very clean. It was too cold for us to enjoy the outside but the location was by far the best of all the cabins we have tried in the area since it was 5-10 min to all the activities we had planned. Highly recommend this place!

Eight of us came for a weekend to celebrate my 14 year old's birthday. My husband and me, my (senior) mom, 4 teenagers, and one 11 year old. We all loved the house! The teenagers especially loved the bunk room, games, hot tub and exploring the grounds. The adults loved sitting on the front porch or by the fire in the living room. The couches were comfortable and there was plenty of seating and space to spread out inside. The beds were comfortable - we all agreed we slept well. We appreciated all of the king beds! We arrived later than we hoped, so it was already dark and I was nervous we'd have a hard time finding the house. Happily, we didn't. There was not a steep hill to navigate and the house was lit up with string lights so we found it pretty easily. It was chilly when we arrived, but we turned the heat on and the whole place warmed up quickly. It was clean and welcoming! We ate most of our meals out (We especially liked The Local in Boone), but we did cook one dinner and one breakfast at the house. There were pots and pans and bakeware, and enough plates/cups/cutlery for all of us. We did wish there were a couple of platters and an additional mixing/serving bowl or two, but we made it work! Only having 2 bathrooms was our biggest challenge (4 teenagers!), but we knew this going in and we managed the shower schedules and didn't run out of hot water. We had a wonderful weekend here and I'd rent this place again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house!
