This stay was amazing. The host was very responsive to our needs, and was even able to accommodate our dog at a last moment notice. The house was wonderful. Clean. Quiet. Loved that we could have a small fire in the backyard for some smores. Definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

This was a beautiful property and fit our needs perfectly. We loved all the amenities and the fenced back yard. The open floor plan and large bedrooms were very comfortable and it was very quite around the property. We will definitely be coming back!

A cute, cozy place. You can hear the ocean from outside. It fit our family perfectly and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again .

The place was perfect. lean and neat and the Christmas tree was something we were not expecting. Close to town but far enough away that it was quiet. The dogs enjoyed their space as well. would definitely visit here again.

The property was clean and cozy. The back yard is fenced so my dog was able to run free.The host responded quickly. I will be coming back to stay in the future.

This is a really lovely comfortable home with great amenities like a nice kitchen, electric fireplace, laundry, comfy beds, fenced yard and thoughtful touches like dog bowls and towels for furry friends. It was perfect for us!

Blue Anchor Cottage is a great family lodging option in Ocean Shores. Clean and comfortable, excellent kitchen, nice appointments throughout, with a deck and a big, fenced yard for dogs. We were disappointed that the beach “within walking distance” was closed during our stay, but there are several delightful walking beaches just a short drive away.

This is our 4th time staying at this property. There is a reason we keep coming back. I can’t say enough positive things about this property. If you have dogs this is the place to stay!! Awesome fenced yard (no gaps) nice grassy space for the pets, as well as a nice fire pit and covered deck for you to enjoy the outside private space. The game room is pretty awesome. We enjoyed several football games and baseball games on the T.V. In the garage, and found out we have some pretty serious pac man skills on the arcade game in the garage. (I’m currently the high score holder so I can’t wait to see if someone beat me next time we visit) Beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, and the cleanliness is truly top notch. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

A great place to stay, such a nice and clean house. Not far to get on the beaches. This was our 3rd time staying here. Our daughter in a wheelchair was able to get around the house with no problem, and hand held shower head in shower bathroom

Clean and comfortable. A bit far from the center of town and the beaches but not too bad. Only stayed 3 nights... Next time we will plan better and stay a few more

Very clean and comfy home. Perfect for our dogs with fenced back yard. We loved having the spacious bedrooms each with king bed. Nice corner lot with lots of light. Definitely would recommend and hope to stay here again in the future.

We made this home for two days with our adult child and their fiancee. The layout allowed for quality together time, as well as privacy when needed. I liked the layout and we had everything required for a good time. The kitchen setup and BBQ allowed us to cook in both nights and enjoy leisurely meals. If we have (grand)children traveling with us in the future, this rental is supplied with all things child, including a PakNPlay, stroller and toys. I know that it says these things are there in the listing, however it was nice to see what was described is what we found. The mattress facilitated quality sleep and it was quiet and dark. I have turned to VBRO as my choice when traveling due to some dirty hotel rooms after COVID. This rental was clean and I appreciated that most of all! I love Ocean Shores and will seek this out as our place to stay in the future.

This house was perfect! The backyard is huge and such a plus for dogs. House was extremely clean. Beach was a short walk and quiet. Was nice to have a fire pit as well since the beach gets windy.

We found this property last year and liked it so much we came back. It did not disappoint. Love the fenced yard for the dogs and one of our dogs likes to sit on the deck and watch over the property...out of the rain.

The house was clean, location was excellent with a short walk to the beach, close to town for necessities or dinner, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing girls’ getaway.

Darling bungalow, so close to a lovely beach park (Damon Point)! We didn’t lack for anything … completely fenced for the pups, two king beds, all the necessities to whip up dinners, fireplace, garage games and great TV options for those rainy days! The whole house was spic and span clean! Plenty of kid toys, games, etc (even though we are long past those days ourselves, we still notice). Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Lovely hosts - thank you!

We so enjoyed our weekend stay. The cottage was very inviting and had an amazing array of games for backyard fun. Beach access was a quick walk. Hosts were very helpful. We will definitely come back.

This is our 3rd stay at this property in the last year and a half and we will continue to keep coming back! Each visit has been so amazing. This home is always so clean, stocked and organized. Our two dogs take advantage of the fully fenced yard, which is such a bonus when you travel with pets. This is one of our favorite relaxing vacation spots and we were able to bring Mom along to enjoy the stay with us. She loved this spot as well. The hosts and folks that manage the housekeeping/checkout process are all so helpful. There was an accident on the road out of town when we were leaving and they messaged us to inform us the road was closed but we were welcome to stay at the house longer until we were able to leave town. We appreciated the care and concern. I will recommend this property to others based on the great experiences we continue to have there.

It was an outstanding home! All the facilities were excellent. Nothing seemed to be forgotten for our needs. I would recommend it to everyone!

We so enjoyed your lovely home! The only suggestions I have is the garage/game room could be swept out, and it would look nicer if all the weeds could be pulled in the front, kids are always looking for jobs?!

What an incredible experience this was for us! My husband and my 3 children were in town for a wedding and we had the best location to stay for the kids! They had so many different games to play and a great back yard to enjoy! Even though we didnt bring our fur kids they have everything for your dogs to enjoy the trip! as well!

Had a great time. Very close to Damon Point Beach and great for Dogs with the fully fenced 6 foot fence.

We had a family reunion at the Golf Course, my second cousin lives there. Another get together on the beach. But meeting at the Rusty Anchor was the best. Our immediate family had Saturday night dinner at the cottage and we played games. Picture the family around the table and the fireplace going. It’s a dream come true.

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The home was very cozy and comfortable. Our family highly recommends this property.
