Best View of Taylorville Lake My Perfect Place

This place was exactly what we needed! Enough space for 4 of us and our dog. The hot tub was so relaxing at the end of the day!

This place was nice for a couple night stay. We did notice alot of ladybugs but they didn't bother us too much. The view was awesome of the lake! The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a day on the bourbon trail

Hot tub was great. Quiet and peaceful. Not too far from anything but close to nothing. The perfect break from the city.

The location was perfect for our plans. Some of the appliances make odd/loud noises. And while not necessarily the host’s fault, there are a lot of bugs. As a warning, the WiFi is unsecured if that matters to you. There is Roku tv.

Lovely home. It was super nice and clean when we got there. Grateful for being able to stay there. Look forward to possibly staying there again in the future!!

This cottage was perfect! It was clean and we had plenty of room! It's a short drive to the marina and to the gas station/convenient store. In addition to the lake, we enjoyed using the hot tub on the deck and community pool in the resort.

Great stay. House was easy to find and was clean and spacious. There is a good size dining room table and the living room/bedroom furniture was comfortable. We had a great time in the hot tub and enjoyed our time exploring the lake and surrounding area.

The property was exactly as described and super clean. We hung out with our dog, did a hike at the state park, and made meals together in the cute and homey kitchen. Kimberly was a great host! She was kind, responsive, and let us extend our stay for a few hours. Would absolutely recommend!

We had a great time over Thanksgiving week. The hot tub is our favorite one at Edgewater! Trailheads were close and the cottage had everything we needed to make family meals. The beds were very firm, so if you don't like that, this might not be the one for you. The fireplace is a bit tricky, but unless you're coming during cold weather, that shouldn't matter. The kitchen had a few things on hand, so we didn't have to buy some spices and things. Plenty of linens, some toiletries and paper products, nice decor. I would definitely stay here again.

Kim’s cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed. Easy check in and out. Edgewater resort was quiet and very close to the lake. Nice hiking trails. We would definitely stay there again.

My family and I were traveling from Michigan to stay a few nights at this location. I was told by the host that I wouldn't receive the check in information until the day we were to arrive. I told the host we were planning on arriving at the property at 4pm. My family arrived to the property and still had not received the check in information. Overall the stay was fine, but the communication could be better. We did kill at least 3 stink bugs in the house each day we were there. I had tried to contact our host Thursday morning to see about tacking on one more night to our stay. Never heard anything back from the host until 9:00am the morning we were suppose to leave (had to be out by 11am). By that time we were already packed up almost ready to leave.
