Beautiful Views, Sunrises, Dog Friendly, Comfortable!

Perfect birthday on the Lake!What a wonderful way to celebrate my March birthday! My husband and I and our two pups have been to the Finger Lakes several times but this was our first time on the lake, and we loved it! The cottage is so clean, charming, and lovingly decorated. We’ve never been a rental that was so well equipped. Host Nancy has provided everything you could ever want or need … and then some. She quickly responds to any questions. Evenings spent around the fireplace made the cozy cottage even cozier. We’re already planning a return trip.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was great and had everything we needed to relax and have fun. It was especially perfect for our trip with two kids — they had a great time and we felt very comfortable the entire stay.We especially loved the kayaks — they really made the experience even more special. Being able to get out on the water added so much to our trip and created some of our favorite moments.The space was clean, well-equipped, and made for an easy, enjoyable getaway. We would definitely come back!

Many items such as coffee, spices, paper products, and shampoo were available so packing was easy. Host was accessible and responsive and came early one snowy morning to salt the walkway. The house was comfortable and relaxing. The view was perfect.

The host had great communication. The place was perfect, cute, cozy, and an amazing view of the lake.

5 stars are not enough! This cottage is fantastic, and Nancy is a pleasure to work with. The mud room as you walk in is exactly what's needed (big enough, no wasted space). The main area is open, with a counter/cabinet island separating the kitchen from the LR. Decor is contemporary and well maintained. All the appliances, cookware and servingware you need. The pantry is huge. The kitchen table is large. The LR is sizeable with 2 sofas, 2 chairs and a nice coffee table. Smart TV is large and has streaming options. WiFi connects easily and is strong. The heat worked great throughout the house, even in single digit outdoor temps. A gas fireplace added heat and was nice to look at. The east-facing side of the house (LR and 1 BR) offers awesome views of Seneca Lake. You can't control the weather, but our Friday morning was a Top 10 sunrise we were so grateful to watch with coffee before making breakfast. The BRs are nicely decorated and beds are firm w/plush-tops. There is a bathroom between the BRs, and a second bathroom in the back of the cottage (the side away from the lake and closer to the road). Maybe more than any other feature, this back room really impressed us. The house is dog friendly, and Nancy has it prepped for them as much as for humans. Blankets, bowls, toys and space in back room for 2 large dog crates near the washer/dryer. We took the pups to some wineries and felt fine leaving them home for others. VRBO doesn't give enough space to gush enough!!

We had a wonderful stay here over Christmas. Check-in was easy and the house looked great. They put up Christmas decorations all through the house, including stockings on the fireplace and even a tree! The view out the living room and bedroom windows is amazing. We had some sunrises that were simply jaw-dropping. Even with weather in the single digits, the house was warm and comfortable. For our family of four, it would have been nice to have a third bedroom, but our oldest was perfectly comfortable on the pull-out couch, with automated blackout curtains keeping it plenty dark for him to sleep in. It would be perfect for one or two couples looking to explore the Finger Lakes. Thank you, Nancy, for a wonderful stay!

From the minute we walked in we were relaxed for a Thanksgiving long weekend. The views are amazing. This was the coziest well stocked dog friendly house I’ve stayed in. Owner thinks of everything. I mean everything. We lit the flame less candles every night. Great dishes and cookware. Our 2 Boxer dogs had plenty of room to spread out. I could go on and on about how special this little place is. Communication was flawless, instructions for everything. Just an amazing stay

Beautiful little cottage! The sunrises every morning were spectacular! Nancy has everything you need and more! We loved walking down to the dock and just sitting and taking in the peacefulness! Our pups loved their first vacation! We will be back!

This is a very charming house and location. The lake view is beautiful, from outdoors and indoors as well. The property owner was very responsive and checked in to ensure we arrived and gave us contacts if needed. Very clean, nice yards, with a nice deck to sit and have breakfast and dinner to enjoy the lake. The dock has a sitting area, which is nice. We unfortunately did not have enough time but did want to use the kayaks that tge owner makes available. I woukd highly recommend this to anyone traveling to the area.

Very well kept and clean. Small issue with the lockbox for the keys but Nancy was easy to get in touch with and got us taken care of right away. Location was great for touring both Seneca lake and Keuka lake. Enjoyed a campfire by the dock on one night. Will definitely look to stay here again next time we come to the lakes!!

The properly was very well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. The sunrises were spectacular every morning and the lake was nice and clear for swimming in when calm. Check in and check out was easy and the host was very receptive to any questions we had.

Beautiful property, gorgeous view, loved the livingroom, bedrooms, kitchen area, deck. We had everything we needed. Very pet friendly and welcoming to our dog.We could not access the kayaks because the locks are corroded, so could not get out on the water, so I wish I had known to bring my paddleboard. Also, despite detailed instructions, the tv in the main bedroom did not have connectivity, had no signal error. There were no additional trash bags, so we were glad we brought our own.Overall, great place, we would stay there again if those tweaks were addressed.

Great place to stay right on Seneca lake! Absolutely everything has been thought, there isn't anything missing from the property. This was our first time staying here, but hopefully not the last!

This cottage is perfect for a trip to the Finger Lakes! The views of Seneca Lake are spectacular! The house was immaculate and stocked with all the amenities. The location is perfect, close to both Penn Yan and Geneva. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property is situated at the end of a dead end street, The neighborhood is very quiet with a great view of the lake.The house was very clean and completely stocked with essentials. The only things we need were food for us and the dog.Nancy was very easy to communicate with.We really enjoyed our stay.

The property is a nice cabin on Seneca Lake. It is comfortable for four but would be suitable for six. We went in the wintertime so we could only imagine how much fun it would be in the summer! The cabin was clean and kitchen was well-stocked with basic cooking supplies. It also other amenities such as has a washer & dryer, and pet beds. We're thinking of going back in the summer.

Simply perfect! This super well-stocked and clean cottage was just what I needed for a quiet, restful getaway. The gas fireplace and rocking chair on the dock were the cherries on top. And it was a great location to tons of wineries and Geneva if you need to go out--but why would you want to leave, lol!

We enjoyed the property immensely! A little too cold and wet to sit outside much while we were there, but the lake is always very close by!

Amazing

An absolutely wonderful property on Seneca. The location is perfect. We were treated to a beautiful sunrise every morning across the lake. It was well appointed, updated, and everything worked well. I especially enjoyed feeding the birds with the included bird seed! If you are look for a small cottage in the Finger Lakes, I highly recommend this stay.

Great place to stay! We did some hiking in the day and checked out local wineries. Place was well outfitted with dock and kayaks plus much more!
