beautiful seaside cottage

Great deck and view. Nice new couches and comfortable rooms. Lots of appliances, dishes. Outside not so pleasant when we first arrived...could use some work...paint on window trim, lawn maintenance .

When I first read the reviews of this cottage, I couldn’t understand how it had two such contradictory reviews. Now I understand. It should be renamed “contradictory cottage”. It has a prime location, but is surrounded by low-budget housing. It looks a little uninviting when you drive up, but has an incredible deck and view of the sunrise over the bay. The kitchen is a bit shabby, but it has top notch appliances. It has a great TV, but no inviting touches for a holiday cottage (books, games, puzzles). It has beautiful quilts on the bed, but the mattresses are lumpy and uncomfortable. The lounge and bedrooms were clean, but the bathroom had a lingering smell of stale urine. In general, it was fine for a short stay for mature adults and two dogs (in fact great for dogs - good walks and the deck is awesome).

Cottage was very clean. Great location. Very walkable to downtown Digby. Beautiful view of the wharf.Cottage had what we needed. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a great little spot. Two of us stayed here for a golf tournament. Was perfect for our stay. Place was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need in a kitchen. Nice BBQ on the deck and beautiful views. Communication with Bonnie was very responsive. Would stay here again.

Absolutely incredible view. Very cozy cottage.

Located on the water with a great view, it was the perfect accommodation for Digby Scallop Days. The proprietor was especially helpful n putting her contact info in our phone so that we could use What’s App.

Mike and Bonnie were great. If we needed anything, they were a phone call away. The view from the deck was incredible. Digby was a beautiful place. I highly recommend this cottage.

Lovely cabin with everything we needed. Beautiful view! Loved that we could walk downtown to the restaurants and pubs they have in Digby. Would definitely return.

The cottage was older, but very clean. The balcony overlooked the ocean. We really enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave

Our stay was amazing! The cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. It was also very clean. The deck and views were amazing and the location was convenient to everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice view of harbour. Had a classic Nova Scotia cottage decor and was clean. Short walk to the restaurants in Digby. Only negative: the hide a bed was only big enough for a child. Would recommend it have a pull out couch in the living room.

Lockbox confusion as we had no idea how to work it. Would have been good to have it figured out earlier. Bonnie came to bring towels at the right time! Also info on the heating system would be helpful. It would be nice to have a direct number to contact the host. Also a couple towel bars in the bathroom would be an idea. There was only 1.We would not hesitate to stay here again. The beds are wonderful. So are the sofas. The view is fantastic. The Seabiscuit and the Fundy Restaurant are close by and worth the visit. We had a good time. It was quiet in the area. Thanks folks.

Property was as described. Great location. Walkable to everything

The weather was not conducive to using the deck, BBQ, or firepit, so have no comment on that. Otherwise, the cabin was comfortable and the hostess was exceptionally helpful.

Entrance driveway is through cluttered neighbours yard which does not give a good first impression. Bedrooms back on to same neighbours parking area so windows were fully covered making bedrooms dark and gloomy.The cottage managers were very nice and helpful and we did enjoy our stay.

Beautiful views, but could have been cleaner, furniture a little dilapidated.

Great location. Very nice deck with view over the water. Comfortable beds. Convenient to shopping and restaurants and to tour the area.

Overall it was adequate

We had an excellent vacation. The serenity was the best. The cottage was everything that was posted. Best view.

The patio overlooking the harbor was the best feature of this simple cabin. Even though the place could use some updating and more comfortable mattresses and pillows, the patio was fabulous and the 10- minute walk to downtown restaurants was very convenient.

We had a great time in Digby and loved the serenity and the scenery ?❣️
