Beautiful new contemporary home, quiet wooded lot minutes from Devils Lake

It's a beautiful design and nice amenities.

Overall this property was excellent. It was very clean, well kept, and had most everything you need for your stay. The area is very quiet and the property is surrounded by beautiful, tall trees. The biggest downside for my family was that the yard was all overgrown weeds. This property would offer so much more if there was a yard to play in. We attempted to play Bocce and Kube in an area where the weeds were slightly shorter, but it was not an enjoyable experience. The property is large and if the lawn were kept properly I would rate this place as amazingly excellent! A few other suggestions: a wire whisk for the kitchen and wiping under the kitchen door handles. Overall we did enjoy our stay here and would definitely stay again if we are in the area. The location is perfect to get to Devil's Lake and the Dells! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This place was extremely clean. The host was excellent and very easy to communicate with.

The step to the front door was a little Challenging for individuals with knee & hip issues. Used the back door to enter a few times,

This was our second stay at Darin’s rental and everything was fabulous!

We are leaving soon. Do you want us to put the garbage out side of the back doors? We do like the home, everything was great. We would come back when the weather is warmer. My wife has a walker and it was a bit hard in the snow, but we made it.

It was the 4th time staying for our family in this house. We love the location, modern clean style, perfect kitchen for cooking and entertaining. Will definitely be back again !

This was our third time staying at this lovely property, we travel here for the Fall Art Tour. The house is secluded but still close to town, the changing colors across the countryside were amazing this year. I would highly recommend this home for a stay in the Baraboo area.

Cute little house that feels a lot bigger than it is! Wonderful large windows and high ceilings. Full kitchen was great-we cooked all of our meals the whole week for 5 people. Very comfortable house in a quiet and convenient location.

The property is very private and lovely. Check in was very simple and host even let us in a little early.

Very cozy and modern accomdations just an 8 min car ride from devils lake state park. This cabin is nestled in the woods, surrounded by huge tress, singing birds, butterflies and more, a nature lovers dream. The kitchen is well equipt, the place is very clean and tidy. They are many interesting books to read and family fun games too. My family of 5 had a great time, swimming in Devils lake state park and hiking the trails. We had a fun time exploding downtown Baraboo too.

Great location and perfect stay for a group of 6 people.We enjoyed cooking in a modern open kitchen, playing board games, roasting marshmallows in a firepit, grilling delicious dinner .It is a perfect place to stay if you love Devils Lake state park. Very short drive and no hassle of packing all camping gear, -so you can spend more time exploring, hiking, fishing or just relaxing.Daron was very prompt and responsive to our messages.Will come back here again. Much better than expected. Enjoyed the higher quality items like the windows and doors and newer washer and dryer and more than needed kitchen. The location was exactly what I was looking for, out of the way but only 10 min from town. I was born in Baraboo, and come up to visit every couple years or so, and now I have a nice place to stay while I'm there. If you like it too, beware because I liked it so much I'm thinking of buying it. At the very least, I'd like a copy of the plans. A couple of points of interest. Was there during rain showers which lasted nearly the entire stay of 3 nights. There are giant 100 foot trees only 20-30 feet away, and during the storm I heard a tree go down deeper in the forest and it was loud and violent. That house would be a pile of match sticks had one of the trees nearer fell upon it. Also, there is a pebble walkway and it's about 15-20 yards to the pebble drive-way. This set-up promotes a messy floor at the house. Plus it makes it difficult for elderly people like me to bring in and out things like suitcases and coolers. It's not well designed from that stand point. The step into the house is higher than my sore knee liked it, causing me to grab hold and hug the beams holding up the little roof over the entrance way. If it were my place, I'd black top the drive way and the walk-way and raise the walk way so the step to the house is only 5 inches, instead of more than twice that much. Finally, it's a clean and neat place.

The owner was very easy to work with, the property was great, and the location as private and beautiful! I will definitely book this place again!

Daron's contemporary cabin in the woods was amazing. We were very close to Devil's Head Ski Resort and enjoyed a beautiful day of downhill skiing along with Cross Country skiing at Mirror Lake State Park. Everything was perfect!

Our family wanted a spot where we could escape all the crowds and still be close to the Dells. This was the perfect spot. Scenic and secluded. Accommodating and responsive host. Would rent again!

We first stayed here for our wedding in fall 2023 and loved it. We stayed again for our first anniversary. It’s a great little place, on a great little piece of property!

Perfect place for our two new families with little boys under one year old! We appreciated the rounded corners of the coffee table (lol) and the quiet peaceful setting.

This was our second time in this house and both times our stay has been excellent. The house has a wonderful open layout with huge windows and cozy fireplace. We hope to stay again in the future.

This is our second year of staying at this property for the Fall Art Tour. We love the location, the privacy and the contemporary architecture of the home. We have already booked this property for the 2025 Art tour.

Unfortunately we could not enjoy our family gathering due to an illness. I did not purchase the travel insurance, and due to the short notice of cancelling our reservation - we were not authorized a refund. However, I communicated with the host, who was very professional and ensured me that there would be no hidden charges - and offered the possibility of a discount next time we are in the Baraboo area. Family members in the area drove by the property and said it looked lovely - and as advertised (at least from the outside!) Note to self (and others)... buy the travel insurance! We definitely will reach out to rent this property next time we're in town!

The house was clean, kind of small, setup ok. But we would not have stayed if we had seen the uncut/ unkept condition of the lawn/ landscape. You have a view of wild untouched wooded lot. Maybe that's what you want?

I had been visiting the Dells/Devils Lake area for years. After having done all the camping, waterpark complexes and hotels, it was time up grade the experience and this gem in the woods certainly did that. The modern style made my family of three feel right at home. The floorplan was just the right size and the oversized windows and streams of light that poured in made the space truly feel like outside-in living. The kitchen and household amenities were well equipped. Nothing more than groceries and firewood was needed. The only thing missing was a strong internet connection, which honestly wasn't missed at all as this was the least amount of work I had done while away in years. We enjoyed this gem in the woods and look forward to being back again and again
