We enjoyed our stay at this location. The deck and the living room were both great gathering spaces, and we really appreciated all the available seating. The kitchen seemed to have been well-used over the summer and could use a deep fall cleaning, and we thought the basement rooms were a little damp. All in all a great place that we enjoyed!

Jadon and Theresa were outstanding in helping us check in and kept the communication open. If we had any questions they responded quickly. The property was more than we expected especially the views of the lake.

We spent a 3-day weekend here to help my Dad open his tiny cabin for the season. This place has everything you need/want--fully-equipped kitchen, laundry, bedrooms, beautiful views, comfy living room furniture. Even our crabby 15-year-old terrier dog loved it!

We traveled with a few groups of friends for a board game and puzzle weekend. This place suited our group great! We booked three nights and were all arriving at different times and the host was very accommodating on helping us with the parking, though we did travel during the off season so that may have helped. The house itself is as pictured, and as some mentioned the basement was a little rustic but nothing at all unexpected for being in the Northwoods. We were very comfortable with a group of 8 here. As mentioned in the listing there is no dishwasher which was not a problem for us, the sink was plenty big for dishes, and otherwise the kitchen was extremely well appointed, we cooked all of our meals for 3 days with no issues. We used the grill on the deck one night which was really fun.We brought our dog as well who had the BEST time! The deck on the back of the house is even bigger than it looks on the pictures, and is almost overhanging the lake. Furniture upstairs was all very comfortable, table big enough for games, and there was a card table as well that we utilized. I slept on a lower bunk downstairs and while it got chilly at night there were extra blankets and sleeping bags and it was really cozy. We're already trying to plan a weekend to return in the fall. A short 2 hour drive from the twin cities made it an easy place to get to after work, and for some of our sports gamblers they enjoyed being ~25 minutes from turtle lake casino. Also this isn't too far from some great hiking in the chippewa moraine forest area. Would recommend to any friends, had a great time!

The kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms were all very well stocked. Besides toothbrushes and toothpaste, we could easily have just packed our own clothes and food. It was so clean and comfortable that we ended up spending more time there than I expected. My boys loved the old-school arcade games downstairs. We all enjoyed spending time on the deck, the enclosed porch, and around the campfire. Two things to note: 1) It is encouraged for people to bring their own drinking water due to nitrate levels in the tap water. 2) The dock is safe for adults, but not a place to have children spend any time on. If you want to have kids near the water, drive 10 minutes away to the City of Chetek beach.

We picked this home because it was a good location on a large lake that had easy access to the water. Although it can easily accommodate 10 people, the kitchen area was small with no dishwasher. We had one snafu that was corrected when we contacted the owners. Prompt and good communication with them.
