BEAUTIFUL BASQUE HOUSE WITH MAGNIFICENT VIEWS.

We really liked the house a lot. Thank you for the early check in There were some type of insects In the room that we slept (groundfloor double room at the seaside) we noticed a bit of dirt on the cushions, likely coming from the window above

This is a spectacular home in a magical setting. Beautifully designed, furnished and maintained. We all loved our stay on this fabulous coast.

Amazing unique property with incredible views. Absolutely loved the hydrangeas! It suited our group of 10 adults and there was good space for parking two vehicles including a van. Some nooks and crannies could have been cleaner and our only suggestion is screens on windows would be helpful.

This was probably one of the best houses we have stayed in as a family. I wished we had additional time to spend and soak up every moment of this magical home. To begin, the location has amazing views of the sea along with the historic and quaint town of Getaria. It was a great location for our family to take day trips, allowing us the ability to easily explore surrounding towns. The house is exceptional. Every room has been carefully designed with many thoughtful aspects to make you feel like you are right at home. It is welcoming, cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed and I was able to cook several meals for our large family with ease. It was such a treat to have thoughtful items like spices on hand that made cooking a breeze. The many seating areas within the home offer fantastic views along with the numerous en suite bathrooms was a fantastic plus for our family. The beds were spacious and comfortable along with additional throws to make you feel right at home. If you are traveling to the Basque area, this would be an ideal location and phenomenal place to stay to soak in the daily life of the area. I would highly recommend. Nothing that I can think of as this was one of our favorite places along our travels to stay. We had only wished for more time to enjoy your beautiful home.

Our family (6 adults and 1 child) stayed for three nights in April 2025. Hosts greeted us and house was just as beautiful in person. The fact that almost each bedroom had its own bathroom was amazing for our group. We spent the night exploring the adorable town and made easy day trips to San Sebastián and Bilbao. Our needs while there were immediately met and hosts were very quick to respond to any questions. Would absolutely recommend. We stayed in two hotels and one other house during our two week trip and this was everyone’s favorite.

In May we had a wonderful holiday with 2 other couples, (all of us from Sydney, Australia,) in a lovely house, surrounded by vineyards, overlooking Getaria. The first impression was stunning, red geraniums in window boxes & bright blue shutters. When we went into the house we were delighted with the view from the living room and long balcony overlooking the ocean & the fishing village. We were very comfortable , the kitchen was well equipped & there was lots of local pamphlets, plus very useful information from the owners. We felt very welcome. We did local trips & found Getaria was a charming place to visit. Lots of good restaurants, plus we all enjoyed watching the fishing fleet coming & going from the port. One memorable night we observed dozens of boats fishing at night with lights, for squid ? There were pleasant local walks & very good local supermarkets. Our visits to San Sebastián several times were highlights. I would suggest booking a pintxos tour with a guide. ( we went by taxis ! ) I would thoroughly recommend this house, lots of spare bedrooms on 2 levels, & an extra kitchenette downstairs. We really only lived upstairs, though one couple enjoyed having the extra space & chose a bedroom downstairs. We were all very sorry to leave, & wished we had an extra week, I would thoroughly recommend staying longer. I would love to go back with my children & grandchildren. I cooked this baby lamb. Delectable !

Family of 9 had a wonderful stay at this well appointed, beautiful home w amazing vistas. Close to France and San Sebastián and great for day trips. Hosts were helpful in providing lists of favorite restaurants. We would happily rent again from our gracious hosts.

It’s a great house, with more than enough space, great vieuws and in a beautiful setting. Ownership are super friendly and are open to answer all your questions. We (9 girlfriends) had a few great days!

The entire experience was absolutely fantastic. We had such a great time, and were only sorry that we hadn't been able to book more time here. The house is wonderfully laid out, especially for larger groups or if you had multiple families. Every amenity you might need. The views are amazing. We even walked down into Getaria one afternoon (the walk back up would be a hike, but doable! Best not done in the dark though). All in all, fantastic on every level. Would absolutely recommend.
