Bear's Den- Cottages On Serenity Lake- Beautiful Cottage On Small, Private Lake!

loved the peacefull setting on a nice little lake. We purchased paw patrol rod & reel for our 3 year old grand daughter, and she caught the 1st fish. The cabin was perfect for our group of 6. Very clean and nice

Cabin was clean and beautiful. The hot tub was a favorite for us.

We loved it as soon as we opened the door to step into this beautiful private cabin with views of the lake or woods from every window. Host was very accommodating.

What a beautiful view, everything was great, clean and the hosts were very easy to get ahold of.

The host was nice, loved the property and the hot tub. Ve warned about the fireplace, no matter what we did it wouldnt vent and it made the cabin very smokey. That was probably a combo of the fact that it's not a very deep fireplace and also it wasnt very cold outside so the smoke wasnt drawn up. I believe it's a common problem based on the old smoke smell that was present when we arrived. We brought an odor eliminating candle and it helped though. Additionally, the beds werent very comfortable... but I'm extremely sensitive to hard mattresses. Other than that, everything was pleasant! We needed a quick quiet getaway with a hot tub for some injury rehabilitation and it did the trick. Thanks so much!

Serenity Lake lives up to its name and the bear cottage was beyond our expectations. Peaceful and private setting. Our host was always available and checked in to see if we needed anything during our stay. We enjoyed a relaxing vacation!

Communication from host was appreciated and cottage exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back! True hidden gem.

Had a great weekend at Bears Den. The hot tub was a great added bonus after a day of hunting in the area.

This was a beautiful cabin that the 6 of us enjoyed comfortably! Brian was super easy to get ahold of and had great instructions for the gate key.

Host was amazing an very proactive to make sure we were a comfortable an content, very clean an couldn’t ask for much else

Clean, could have used some additional stocked items in the kitchen. Lots of rules to follow. Beautiful location. Quiet lake.

Very peaceful aside from hearing a few guests from other cabins once or twice. The cabin was clean and appointed well, saw some wildlife, various birds, some ducks, a few toads and a small lizard. Owner was communicative and checked that we had everything we needed a few times. He and his daughter showed our family their snakes and even let us hold them for a little while. Overall a good experience.

I wish we could’ve stayed longer but unfortunately I had to swap out the overalls for a suit and tie and back Chicago. The bird songs will be just a dream! My dog Mickey now knows the word canoe and will miss jumping in and out and dozing off while we (my husband as well) lazily paddled around! We (all three!) will definitely be returning! I think we will try to stick with bears den cottage as Mickey will love remembering the property! We had rabbits and ducks and amazing bird sounds. The weather was great but I honestly don’t see rain ruining any!

Beautiful cabin in a quiet secluded setting. Host was very accommodating. I was disappointed in the beach. The lake had a lot of slimey weeds at the beaches.

We thoroughly enjoyed the nature and trails, then relaxed in the hot tub and in front of the fireplace. We will be happy to return!

Clean and cozy, very private and comfortable. Cold days...hot tub and fireplace a God send and added to the comfort. Property was very private and quiet which was awesome! Communication with Brian was great even though he was on a road trip responded rapidly to any questions that came up.

It was a beautiful setting to spend Thanksgiving weekend. We had all we needed & were very comfortable

The place was very clean. We were lucky to see the Northern Lights while we were there. Wish we could have stayed longer.

My husband and I were moving from Oregon to Ohio and needed a respite and some nature between our long driving days. This place was beautiful and very clean. The owners of the property were very nice and accommodating and very responsive when we had questions and/or needs. We had a lot of fun Just FYI, not a complaint. The only spices are salt and pepper. There are no cooking oils, nor are there things like Saran Wrap, foil, etc. You will need to bring those.

We all had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute!! Fishing, hikes, Hottub, fires, smores and much much more!!!

The surroundings were beautiful. Wildlife was great to see. A wonderful break from the city. Calm and peaceful getaway. Would love to stay again.
