ON The Beach!
Gorgeous and Remote Beachfront Location in lush and tropical Moloa'a
This is a one bedroom, one bath beachfront home with a queen bed and a sofa futon in the living area and another couch in the bay window.
The home has Oceanic Cable / high speed connection
Very Casual and Rustic, this home is a step above camping! The home is located ON THE BEACH!
If you want a beachfront location and an affordable property this is the balance you are looking for...
Perched on a fabulous white sand beach in the middle of secluded and crescent-shaped Moloa'a Bay. Moloa'a Bay is quiet and not frequented by tourists – you will truly feel like you have escaped to an island paradise!
In fact, this is the beach where Gilligan's Island the hit TV show from the 1970's filmed the opening seen.
This cottage was built with wood imported from the Philippines. It has a master bedroom with a queen bed, a kitchen and a living room with panoramic ocean views.
There is excellent swimming, diving, and snorkeling only steps away. Hawaiian monk seals, whales and dolphins are frequently sighted from the balcony. The towns of Princeville, Kilauea and Kapaa are all about a 10-15 minute drive away.
Renters have the entire property, no shared space with other renters on the property.
Any guests on property at any time in addition to overnight guests should be communicated and must be approved prior to booking.
There are no considerations for multiple renters on the property at the cottage at any time.
The entire rental is on the top floor, the lower story floor is not available for use.

We LOVED this place. The location is idyllic for a couple looking to get away somewhere probate and unique. This rustic cabin was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a one week stay in Kauai. We had friends staying in Princeville and appreciated how close the cabin was to other neighboring towns while still remaining quiet and peaceful.
The house is beautiful and the location spectacular!
My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in December and it was amazing. The ocean comes right up to the building almost, the breeze and the surf are fantastic. There are a lot of stairs and the a/c really only applies to the bedroom but, whatever, if you are looking for a posh resort, this is not it. You might see a bug or two, get over it, because you will have the most amazing view and beach almost entirely to yourself. We saw maybe 3 people a day on the beach. All day. Moloa'a Bay is spectacular. Where else in HA can you have an ENTIRE BAY to yourself with the surf so loud in your place that you will have to close some windows to be able to hear the tv? The vintage mahigany woodwork is awesome (there are 3 pocket doors), at times it feels like you are on a ship, because all you see when you glance outside is water. Tremendous spot. Brian was very responsive and helpful. We will be back.
Everything was great. It was a little rustic, but we expected that.
Great location and comfortable property. Will return to rent it again.
If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful place, this is for you! A small cottage right on the beach. Had everything we needed.
Was a great place to stay right on the beach. If you have the right fishing gear, it’s a great place to fish with lots of local fishermen that come in the morning. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful with no obstructions as you are right on the beach. The house itself reminded me of the old captains quarters on a wooden ship. The home is definitely aged, but has a lot of character and gives you a good Hawaiian feel
This property was literally on the beach! Step out of the back of the under-property carport and you hit sand. For the price, this property was 5-star. It could use a bit of refurbishing...but then you'd pay considerably more per night. Did I say you are literally on the beach? The humidity and ocean spray can play havoc with the interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces and this place has a LOT of wood surface which gives it charm. The humidity was 100%, normal for Kauai, and everything inside was, of course, damp. No help for that. My ONLY gripe was that the hot and cold water piping was reversed and we thought we had no hot water for showers. We figured it out before the owner promptly got back by text within the hour. So just turn on the shower faucet a smidgen instead of all the way to the left and you are golden. This place has neighbors but the neighborhood is very secluded (on the fricking beach!), half way between Kapa'a and Princeville, so plan to travel 20 minutes for food and shopping. The kitchen has every thing you need for free-lance meals. Remember to keep all opened items in the fridge, including bread and breakfast cereal, and scrub all prep and eating surfaces with soap and water and you won't see any bugs. Kauai is the land of the wild chicken and they will serenade you at dawn every morning, right outside your window...sweet...and accompany you to all your eating venues. Seriously, I would stay here again, better than the Pville condo on previous stay
The house had everything we needed and was very clean. It was a rustic beach house. If you want fancy go elsewhere. We had a great stay
If ocean front is your thing, this cute little cabin is for you. Unparalleled views of sunrise and moon rises. Would have loved a few beach chairs.
