Beachfront Cottage at Log Cabins

This is a fantastic property. If you want to have a quiet beachfront home on the north shore at a very reasonable price, this is your place. The property manager was very nice and communicated well. The proximity to the beach with the sound of the crashing waves filling the house made us sleep like we’ve never slept before. Although parking is great and in a private fenced yard, you don’t need a car as Foodland is an easy walk from the house and is a great store. The kitchen was well equipped and we made a full Thanksgiving dinner using mainly the utensils provided. We will definitely be back. Loved this place more than words can express.

It’s an old school, classic beach cottage in the best location. We had a great time.

Amazing place to stay. The location is perfect. Will definitely book again when visting Oahu.

First of all why do you step into the shower stall when going in the front door?? Very weird. The house sits on the most beautiful beach we have ever seen! We loved watching the surfers.The house is roomy with comfortable beds very well equipped kitchen,which is hard to find, and a good bathroom with a lot of towels and shelves that I appreciated. The washer and dryer we nice as well. It was cozy but it needs some upkeep such as a new patio screen door. The big problem we had with the house was NO air conditioning! It was so hot and miserable in there we could barely stay in there. Sleeping was rough even with 3 fans blowing on us.

Was so good didn’t know what we had. Beach front. Log cabin cottage. Middle room held heat for a couple days but property manager got extra fans to accommodate. Shrubs blocked a little of the beach view but had the amazing ocean view. As soon as we asked property manager had hedges trimmed and got an even better view of beach and ocean. The location on beach is not a water spot for children but all kinds of swimming in the general area for all ages many beaches to explore walk or drive to.

The location was amazing. Right on the beaxh and in the heaetnof North Shore. Excellent surfing and snorkling experience. Our family enjoyed the nature emergence and shared family time.

The location is great, private beach. The home definitely needs a lot of work. Beware there is no Air conditioning which makes it almost unbearable to sleep. Not ideal for families with small children. You will need to travel to another local beach, The waves here are definitely for surfing only or experienced swimmers. Would not recommend this home.

Excellent stay at a truly wonderful property! Would definitely stay here again. Great location. Easily walkable to many different spots (beaches, restaurants, food trucks, markets, etc). I don’t think I would ever stay anywhere else if I had the chance.

I stumbled upon this booking last minute after craving an Oahu stay. I’m from Chicago originally, but I’ve lived in Hawaii since 2012. Almost 3 yrs on Oahu and now a Big Island resident. Quaint, cozy, everything a family could possibly ask for. We had 2 adults and 3 boys ages 8,9,11. You can walk to Haleiwa Town if semi physically fit. Do not sleep on this one…

This little house is right on the beautiful beaches of the North Shore. A great way to start and end our days! Also a great base location for everything! The house is dated and could use some upgrades and tlc, but really you’re there for the location. We had an issue with the house when we arrived that was out of everyone’s control, but Bitsy was great with communication and got it fixed as soon as possible while also refunding a portion of our stay for the inconvenience. All in all, I would stay here again!
