Beachfront 6-bedroom cottage, Step right onto the beach! 30 min. to Newport.

In this beautiful coastal town of Charlestown, Rhode Island, experience life in our lovely SEASIDE 6-bedroom, 3 bathroom cottage! Perfect for family gatherings, with a 4 bedroom main cottage, and an attached 2 bedroom guest cottage. Seaside is available by the week, Saturday to Saturday during the SUMMER (June through the first week of September.) For the Summer season, we only rent the entire 6 bedroom together. It is available on off season booking for four days or more. It is availableto be rented as the main cottage OR guest during the OFF season.

The perfect location for that SEASIDE vacation with the extended family. Nestled right in the dunes with a direct view of the ocean, the beach and Block Island. Only a few steps over the dunes, and you are on the beach!
Enjoy free WiFi, TV with ROKU, full kitchen set up in both cottages. There are various areas for relaxing on the couches or chairs, the deck, and a patio below. Plenty of parking! Umbrellas and beach games are available for your use.

Plan your day ......a walk over the dunes for an early morning dip , relaxing on the deck with a book, driving just a couple of minutes to the Deli on the corner of Charlestown beach Rd., where there are great sandwiches, wonderful croissants for breakfast and ice cream cones. Close enough so you can just grab, and eliminate the cooking! Return to the cottage, to enjoy a relaxing lunch, on the deck, or take it to the beach! More swimming and beach games for the afternoon and then it is outside shower time. There are foot buckets at the bottom of the stairs which are a extremely helpful to keep the sand off of the wood floors. Drinks, dinner, and relaxing on the deck is a grreat way to finish off the day with a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset.

The grill is below on the patio where there are chairs and a table to sit and get out of the sun.

In the cottage, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, microwave, lobster pot, coffee maker, kettle, blender, kitchen island, toaster, and all the dishes and utensils you need to whip up delicious meals. Relax in the living room or on the deck, to take in the ocean views. Just a few steps and you are on the beach for the little ones to create sandcastles! With 3 bathrooms, towels, basic soaps, a hair dryer, an iron and board, and linens, you'll have all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Unwind on the deck, looking out to Block Island. or enjoy the outdoor furniture as you soak in the stunning natural surroundings.
We are just steps away from a boat rental, where you can explore the inner waters of the ocean. There is a little snack and drink shop which is fun for the older children to walk to for independent time. There is fishing from the breachway or bridge and miles of beach to stroll along on a sunny day or moonlit night.

The main cottage has 6 bedrooms. Two large rooms upstairs with a bath, and a bunk room and double on the main floor, with a bath. There are two sitting areas. T.V. area or view of the ocean area. Lots of widows, and almost every one looks out to the ocean!

The guest cottage has 2 bedrooms. A queen bedroom and a bunk room. There is also a complete kitchen, bathroom, dining area and living room. There is a deck that connects to the main cottage deck. Wonderful sunsets fill the cottage in the late afternoon.,

The patio below has chairs, table and a grill. There is also an outside shower for rinsing off the beach day sand. There is a clothesline there to hang your wet items, to be dry for the next beach day.

We have water delivered twice a week. This is more than sufficient if you are cautious with your usage. If you do run out the well will kick in, and supply water for you. It is very clean, but with a salty taste. We are on the ocean!!! A wonderful little treat!!! If you would like to have additional water brought in, there is an additional charge of $150.00. Conservative us of water is requested. Seems the long outside showers seem to be the weak spot! Who does not want a nice outside shower, after a day at the beach.

The ocean offers a continual breeze for all to enjoy. There are fans throughout the cottage, to assist if needed. The breeze often builds into a stronger wind, and it is necessary to put umbrellas down and be careful of the doors, as it will grab anything in its path. It is suggested that children use the sliders, to avoid the pull of the wind, which could be too strong for a little one.

FOOT BUCKETS are what saves our wood floors. We have wood floors, throughout, except for the kitchen and bath, which are slate. If you rinse before going up the stairs, your feet will be dry and clean by the time you reach the top!
