BEACH BUM COTTAGES - STEPS FROM BEACH, INGROUND POOL, PERFECT LOCATION

Bed was OK. Ceiling fan not addressed. Place was clean and Laura was helpful. Dish washer was loud. Ground maintenance around the pool and chairs were old and some broken. Pool was clean but you can tell little effort is being made to maintain the property

Clean and convenient to the beach. Host was very nice and helpful.

Despite the crazy wind all week we enjoyed our first trip to SGI. The cottages are in a great location. We loved staying there. The only negatives were that the shared wall is very thin and we could hear conversations through the wall. We had 2 nights where my daughter couldn’t sleep because there were 2 little kids next door screaming and banging around all night. The cottage could use some fixing up a little too. There is space around the doors and our first night there someone was using the grill and the smoke was blowing right into the bedroom under the door. We still enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again one day.

This was our second time staying at this location and we had a great vacation.

Only thing missing (for a stay in March) was a hot tub. We had a great stay.

Everything was accommodating lots of towels, kitchen wares were perfect the place keep clean. Living room furniture could be updated but is very pleasant to the eye. Over all we like our stay very much!

As advertised, it was just steps from the beach! Nicely decorated and clean. Perfect for a few days over the Christmas holiday

This is my favorite place to get away for a week. The right size cabins with all the best amenities such as the pool, beach and restaurant proximity.

We came down for a short but pleasant getaway trip. The setup is very nice, as one unit is private enough for a couple, but the complex is perfect for a family trip, as we met a family staying in the other three units. The facilities are in great shape, and beach access is close and easy to use. The host was detailed and fast to address any questions we had. We will definitely return

Beach Bum Cottage was perfect for a quick girls trip! Nice location right across from the public beach access. Cottage was clean and cozy! We will definitely be back.

Great relaxing getaway for my husband and 2 kiddos. Easy access to the beach and pool was perfect for what we wanted. Beach bum cottage had everything we needed, clean, and great location. We rented a golf cart from the property manager, and that was a fun added bonus to our stay on the island. We will be back!

This location was excellent, the beach was right across the street and a short walk over the dune boardwalk. The cottage was clean and bright. The kitchen was well supplied. The downtown area was just a 20 minute walk. The area was very quiet, not much traffic at all.

We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach. Air conditioning was cold, beds comfy and plenty of hot water. The pool was clean and refreshing. Would stay here again.

Location is great but the pictures are very deceiving. Unit was not clean and towels had a sour smell.

THIS PROPERTY IS WONDERFUL. WE WILL RENT IT AGAIN. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. I WOULD ONLY SUGGEST UPDATING THE LIVING ROOM FURNITURE. THE COUCH AND CHAIR WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. MAYBE FIX A FEW STOVE EYES. BUT EVERYTHING WAS GREAT

Beautiful location steps from the beach for watching the sunrises and sunsets. Pool was clean and well maintained for afternoon swims to cool off. PM was responsive and kind. A wonderfully relaxing visit!

I celebrated my 70th birthday at Beach Bum Cottages. my husband and I and My senior dog were with me. We had a great time visiting the beach, restaurants, and shops. We are going back again next year.
