Today, it offers its peace to the traveller looking to escape the chaos of city life. Banyan Camp is set on the banks of Lake Hambegamuwa, in the landscape of a jungle and is a place where nature has not been rearranged by the hands of man.

Located within close proximity to the Udawalawe National Park, Banyan Camp offers a wide choice of experiences whether you wish to indulge in its rustic setting or step out into the wilderness. Its location gives easy accessibility to Yala National Park, Ella Gap, Sinharaja & Arugam Bay.

The Banyan Lodge is built using Champagne and Wine bottles, harvested timber and Palmyra leaf roof. Oil lamps, lanterns and solar bulbs provide a warm glow to the place instead of electricity. The shower & toilet have running water.
