Stayed Sep 9, 2025Had a very good stay. It's rustic Maine at its best. Property butted up to Audubon Society. Listen to Loons with morning coffee and owls at night. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to escape the every day grind. Bruce Pickard.

Stayed Sep 21, 2025This place is a hidden gem, and a great place for jumping off to several different areas. The internet was speedy enough to work remotely, and you could look right out the window and see deer crossing through the yard. It’s a very whimsical cottage and I adored staying here with my dog for the week.

Stayed Oct 8, 2024This cottage is in a great location only 20 minutes from the Bangor airport, close to the wonderful Coffee Break Cafe in Hampden, only an hour from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, with many more beautiful Maine destinations nearby. The cottage is rustic, and there were internet issues. But the quiet location in the woods made the experience a good one.

Stayed Jul 1, 2024We LOVED the well house! So much so that we stayed five days and came back for three more after a trip to Bar Harbor for a few days. Josh was a wonderful and attentive host and did everything he could to make our visit extraordinary. We’re already planning a return visit next summer and cannot wait to go back!

Stayed Sep 25, 2022My sister and I took a road trip from Illinois to Maine. We saw this tiny house on VRBO and fell in love with it. We had everything we needed--kitchen supplies, towels, etc. We had fun cooking our meals, going out for the day and exploring Acadia and all points around Bangor and Camden. We hiked and shopped and then returned to our little home for a great night's sleep. Josh was helpful and responsive. I would recommend this tiny house for anyone wanting to get away and explore Maine.

Stayed Sep 17, 2022Great for down time. In woods, somewhat isolated. We called it indoor camping due to following ; hot water issue..Better be quick! Needs a larger tank. No sink in bath room. Has room for a corner sink. Only sink is in kitchen. Needs at least two new pots. One for pasta, one for sauce or veggies or what ever. Parking needs to be fixed.Too far from cottage and on road. Not looking for greatest TV,but system is bizarre. No local channels for weather and news of area. Makes daily planning difficult. Over all for Us (wife & I) we liked it.And ultimately would go back.
