Baltija - a bungalow that sleeps 6 guests in 4 bedrooms

Nice quiet setting and spacious property but dated and very cold with no heating in the summer months. We had a chilly week unfortunately and were unable to enjoy sitting outside. Empty welcome basket on the table and no milk in the fridge. Have never not had anything at all provided before, milk and biscuits or cake makes a better first impression. Lots of coffee pods/sachets which I don’t drink and no ordinary tea bags just speciality/organic. Kitchen well equipped with good crockery and handy to have a dishwasher. Information leaflets and posters could do with refreshing as some were several years out of date. The bathroom sinks all gurgled loudly and water spurted out the sink once when the bath water came out. Plenty of hot water. Not for us but would recommend overall for the location and space.

An old photo, now more enclosed. A bit dated but fine for a week's holiday. Shower claustrophobic. A shame the nearby stretch of coastal path was closed (and looked overgrown). Unfortunately did not see any red squirrels but plenty of other wildlife.

We had a lovely break in this well presented bungalow. It was lovely to be a bit of the beaten track and so quiet but still easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit. The bungalow is very well equipped with plenty of kitchen equipment and waste bins in each room (often missing in holiday lets). Comfortable beds with great pillow. In fact everything you need. Only slight down side was the TV which has a slightly complicated set up that we failed to make work using the instructions, but there is good Wi-Fi so managed to watch when we wanted to using catch up and streaming services. We did report this so hopefully it will be sorted out. Overall a lovely bungalow in in a secluded situation that provides a peaceful and comfortable holiday.

We loved rural quiet location and the spacious bungalow. Enjoyed having own sink in room. Only down side was uncomfortable sofas in lounge.

Musty smell on arrival, out door furniture needed cleaning before use, relaxer chairs needed replacing. Heating and hot water system a challenge, shower over bath would not maintain a constant temperature , the water control on second shower fell off. All very dated, tourist informacion was mainly 3 years out of date. No welcome pack of any sort. Well equiped and good sized rooms.

We have had a wonderful week at Baltija. The bungalow was very spacious and well-equipped. The location was so peaceful, and we were able to take a walk down to the coastal path and the local bay one afternoon - beautiful views. The staff in the office were very friendly and helpful when I rang with a couple of questions, and they booked our ferry for us with a discount. We definitely want to return.

Situation was lovely and quiet; Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of room inside and out.

A large property that has not had much updating since it was built. Well equipped and most things worked well, although I suspect it might have taken an entire day to run a bath! Pleasant grounds. Would be a very economical place for a large family

Baltija was a comfortable holiday home that was ideal for our 3 generation family holiday. A little dated in decor but very clean and well equipped. The bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds and nice quality bed linen & towels. A few more electric sockets would have been handy in the bedrooms, but we purchased an adapter which solved the problem. The bathrooms were very clean and served their purpose. The showers were not particularly powerful but again served their purpose. The lounge & dining area was very spacious with enough seating for all and a lovely outlook onto the garden and beyond (sea view!) Our grandson used the high chair and that was very handy! The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything and more that we required during our stay. We only used the outside decking area a couple of times but if the weather had been warmer in the evenings we would have used more! The bungalow is a little dated in decor but it didn’t affect our holiday. Overall we all really enjoyed our stay in this lovely quiet location and it was a great base to visit the many lovely places on the IOW. Thank you!

Clean and well presented, well equipped and spacious, quiet and private location. Stupendous weather. Found shower over bath hard to regulate. Try Eco plus a moderate setting. A few more sockets wld be good for devices, also a better vacuum cleaner. We would certainly visit again.
