Stayed Aug 29, 2025I would say this was a 3.5 stay. The location is the best part of the stay, with the house being beautifully set right on the bay. However, the house is a bit rough around the edges, and one of our biggest issues was the flies. It wouldn't take much to add a few screens, even if just in the kitchen and living room. It was clearly a known issue as fly swatters and bug sprays were provided, but when I say flies - I mean everywhere. Covering the wall, in all of our drinks, all over the food. We also had to constantly get wasps out. It made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the space, and we had to make sure food was covered at all times. Otherwise, the biggest issue is the company that has been hired to manage the property. Not only was there zero, and I mean ZERO communication from them, but we weren't even told that we would be billed outside of VRBO. When I got a random email from some company saying a bill was due, I responded to the company and messaged the listing several times through VRBO with zero customer response. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be double-charged, but nobody responded. Then, once again I messaged a question during our stay and no response at all. This isn't the way to do business. Additionally, and this might be a small point, but it is super annoying considering the price to stay here. Stock the bathrooms with toilet paper. One roll per toilet for a group of seven on a five day stay is stingy. At these prices?
