This converted barn is one of three cottages situated at the end of a quiet lane on the family's working sheep farm in the picturesque village of Kelston. Although only ten minutes from the center of Bath and 20 minutes from Bristol it is set in beautiful countryside surrounded by rolling hills.

It is a cosy single storey property with a luxuriously large corner whirlpool bath, electric wood effect stove and pretty wrought iron bed.The exposed brickwork and beams give this cottage a romantic country feel.

'The Old Crown Inn' , a traditional West country pub, is just a ten minute walk down to the village. Here you can enjoy a wide range of reasonably priced food and a good selection of beverages including local real ales and cider.

There are many fantastic walks from the cottages. These include a walk up to 'Kelston Round Hill' from which you can take in panoramic views over Bath and Bristol. For the more adventurous the Cotswold Way passes through the farm allowing you to further explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

It is just a ten minute drive to Bath - a world heritage site and one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

We booked the cottage for while we were dropping our daughter to her uni accommodation which was only a 7 minute drive away from cottage. It’s a very spacious, well maintained cottage with everything you could need in it. George was very quick to respond with any questions I had. I would definitely recommend a stay here and when we come back to visit our daughter we will be looking if they are free to have us.

The pictures do not do justice to the cottage, it is a lovely size with lovely rustic feel. The Internet speed was fantastic, enabling the streaming of Netflix etc. George was an amazing host and even went out of his way to provide a fan for us during the hot weather (without us asking). Could not recommend any more highly.

A lovely little cottage with everything you need inside for a peaceful getaway. Centrally located for days out too. Asda delivery driver even found it. The only issue we found was the steep entrance into the gravelled parking area had a couple of nasty dips in it. Both ourselves & our neighbours had to negotiate entrances & exits very carefully so as not to damage the front of our vehicles. (This can be very easily rectified)

Badger Cottage exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice. Everything was spotless and the location was perfect for exploring Bath, Bristol and the surrounding area. Communication with George was swift and he was very helpful. Badger Cottage was a home from home for us with lots of little details. and we can’t wait to return.

George went above and beyond before we even areives to help assist me in making our wedding night and honeymoon special. Location is perfect: The hill behind the cottages that you can walk to has some of the best views you can imagine. Bath and Bristol are both minutes away with everything the 2 cities have to offer. The cottage however is truly secluded and feels like you're right out in the country. The Cotswolds are right on your doorstep and are even more beautiful than expected. Only down side was the number of spiders if you're arachnaphobic but in a rural place like this that can't be avoided and is no reflection on the host. All in all perfect!! Can't recommend enough!

Loved our stay at Badger Cottage. Impressed with thoughtful touches of the wine and table being laid for tea with fondant fancies! Comfortable bed, nice fluffy towles and great powerful shower. Location was perfect, so quiet and peaceful. Fabulous views of the countryside and the sheep! Location is great for Bath. Would recommend the Newbridge Park and ride for accessing Bath. Very convenient with it being just 10 mins by car from the cottage. Or you could drive into Bath yourself in less than 20mins, although parking is expensive. We would definitely recommend the accomodation as we had a nice comfy stay with all that we needed.
