Architect designed cabin in the woods, Pender Island

We had an excellent stay at the Foxglove cabin. Well-stocked kitchen with cooking oil, all the utensils for cooking needed, and even some spices to use which was great. The cabin was clean, and it was so fun being able to use the woodstove for a fire which warmed up the small space quickly! The bath was lovely with its ocean view, though after a bath, warm water was limited for a while. The bed was very comfortable, and we were woken by sunrise and woodpeckers each morning, keep in mind if you like to sleep in, an eye mask may be helpful to you as the cabin is bright in the mornings. Very private, and Sandra was quick to reply to text questions during our stay. We liked driving around and exploring the island, and the cabin provided a few discs for the disc golf course (though we brought our own). Beautiful indoor space and outdoor deck space to sit in the sunny garden. I'm highly recommending this place to all my friends. It's cute, affordable, and so cozy.

Everything was neat and clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking pots and pans. Washing machine was on the fritz so maybe ask in advance if it's working. Pocket view of the ocean. Quiet and serene.

This was our first time staying on Pender Island, and it was such a beautiful experience. We truly loved the cabin surrounded by forest, fresh air, and the peaceful ocean breeze. It felt like a perfect escape from city life. The wood-stove fireplace made it especially cozy and added to the charm of the space. Sandra was a wonderful host who was warm, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a tranquil island getaway.

The host, Sandra was friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond to questions. She has lots of suggestions for places to go and check out. The cottage itself was cozy, quiet and a perfect spot for a getaway.

This was a perfect cozy cabin to land in for a few nights. It was well equipped, clean, comfortable and had beautiful views of the pacific rainforest.

A lovely, peaceful place to relax. Owners were lovely people, and super-prompt at responding to any needs. Outdoor bath is truly a special experience and the highlight of our stay.

Incredible property. Very quiet. We used the outside tub as a cold plunge and it was great. Surprisingly spacious inside considering how small it looks from the outside.

Responsive, helpful host.Quiet and private location. Forest surrounds you with a nice patch of ocean beyond. You can be cozy in the cabin or go out to one of Pender’s many lovely beaches, eateries, or other unique offerings (host offers some great suggestions).

This suite was a beautiful place to stay and we felt at home right away. The back deck has a view of the ocean but remains private from the the road so noise is kept to a minimum. The space was well taken care of and you can tell the host, Sandra, has put a lot of thought into everything you might need during your stay. Would recommend to all my friends and family!

We absolutely loved our stay at foxglove! The cottage is so tastefully designed and decorated and the setting is beautiful nestled amongst the trees. The outdoor bathtub and indoor/outdoor shower were real highlights! We were also really impressed by how well equipped the kitchen was - probably the best I’ve ever encountered from a vacation rental. It’s not a very walkable location but nor is most of Pender and it’s only a short drive from all the highlights on the island. We loved everything about it and had a perfect weekend getaway!

I was looking for a quiet retreat and this was the perfect place. The outdoor tub had a great view and was completely private. The kitchen was filled with everything I needed and more. I found several lovely places for easy-ish hikes in the same area. It was exactly what I had hoped for. Thank you to my host!

We enjoyed the simplicity of the cottage and marvelled at the architectural features. I loved sitting in the beautiful Softline chair. This was our first stay on the South Island and enjoyed the unite, the pathways and the views across the sound.

We loved our stay at this little cabin! It was perfectly set up for 2 people and had everything we needed in regards to cooking utensils. We lucked out with getting a storm the first night and were able to view it from the large windows, we also loved hearing the rain on the tin roof. We loved the easy access to nearby hiking trails and beach access points.Would stay here again.

We had a great stay at this cozy cabin. Loved the setup of the property, especially the outdoor bathtub and loft-style bedroom! The property was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed and more (Bluetooth speaker, BBQ, Woodstove, etc.) Hosts were super helpful and easy to communicate with! Glad we stayed, and hope to be back for sure!

We had a great time. The outdoor bathtub is so wonderful and we loved the set up in the cabin. Hosts were extremely lovely and so easy to communicate. They even brought us coffee beans when we didn't have any. So very kind. The only thing we found was that the dpace didnt feel as rustic as we'd hoped, but absolutely to each their own! The space was tastefully decorated. Im slightly biased in that I'm really not a fan of mid-century modern design, so didnt love the furniture and decor, and would have loved to have a cozy spot to sit right by the fireplace. But thats me being picky. Overall, we had an incredible time!

This was the perfect spot for us and our dog. So quiet! The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful. We couldn't use the outdoor tub because the temperatures were near freezing. Several restaurants and shops were closed this time of year but Pender Island has many wonderful hikes that we explored. A very relaxing getaway.

There were no extra clean sheets in the bnb the bead was made with only a quilt no top sheet witch felts a bit dirty. When I asked for more sheets I was asked to turn up the heat. The road closure is out of the hosts control forsure however at time of booking it would have been nice to know this would be an issues for us as we were on the island for a wedding and needed better access to our accommodation over all just found the whole experience to be disappointing

The property was rustic and quiet. Furnishings comfortable, outdoor bath tube quaint but weather was too cold in October to enjoy the concept of a bath in the woods.

We would go again. Inside it was clean, with comfortable furniture. Kitchen and other equipment was excellent, even providing olive oil and balsamic vinegar. There were some interesting pictures and other bits and pieces. The bath outside is definitely a summer thing although it allowed my husband to wash off the effects of some stinging nettles that ch he encountered on a hike.

Really enjoyed Foxglove Cottage. The cottage was simple,efficient and clever. Very comfortable and suited to the beautiful, wild surroundings. We enjoyed e biking on Pender and sitting looking out at the ocean at various beauty spots.

The little hide away is perfect for those of us looking to escape. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Everything at Foxglove was dreamy. Amazing airy design and decor, uber comfy and such loving attention to detail. Thank you Sandra for a wonderful stay. I am sad to leave. The bed and linens made for the best sleeps. Tranquility and beauty abounds. I soaked for 3 hours in that incredible tub. Highly recommend! Super hosts!
