Stayed Jul 14, 2024We (adult couple) stayed at Andelyn Farm’s Hummingbird Cottage for a full week in July 2024. It is a comfortable and adorably-furnished antique cottage but we essentially lived on the spacious back porch which is furnished comfortably for reading, snoozing, playing board games and enjoying meals and overlooks the grounds (and is great for watching the hummingbirds visit their feeder). Andy and Lyn were the perfect hosts — responsive and helpful but unobtrusive. Only downsides or caveats: it is close to Rte 30. Not a lot of traffic, especially in the evening but it is a main road. Being an antique cottage the stairs to the upper level with 2 cute bedrooms are very steep and narrow. Because we have a 16-yr-old dog who would not be happy left alone downstairs, we opted to sleep on the trundle bed on the main floor. No a/c (and the first 2 days were quite warm) but there was a steady breeze and 2 tower fans and another large fan upstairs are provided. It is centrally located for various hikes and other excursions to places such as Glens Falls, Lake George or Manchester, VT but it is also perfect if you just want to relax in the country. We did. Thank you Andy and Lyn. (PS we didn't stay in one of the 4 yurts, but they are comfortably furnished and equipped and for glamping they look great!!)

Stayed Jul 3, 2024We were visiting family in Vermont for the forth of July. Hummingbird Cottage was charming and fit the needs of our group of 4 perfectly. We especially enjoyed the large back porch which was comfortable, inviting and perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening cocktails. Hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating.

Stayed Jun 27, 2024The place is exactly as described. We did some hiking on the property and kayaking! We relaxed on the deck listening to the sound of the water. Lynn the host was very attentive and helpful! She gave us a tour of the yurts and the wedding barn! It would be a great place to have a wedding! I was stunned how beautiful the wedding barn was! I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place upstate to just relax! It was perfect!
