Charming and quaint property. Great value

It was a wonderfully quaint site. The only thing was the lack of dinner options. We arrived on a holiday day to find nothing open for dinner except a food truck. We had the fish and chips, which were not thoroughly cooked so the inside batter was gooey. The next evening other places were open but we were exploring elsewhere.Sunsets were gorgeous! The area was very quiet and we were able to do day trips and eat dinner in communities.

The location is absolutely gorgeous. It served as our home base while visiting Nova Scotia. We liked the 'off-the-beaten-path' experience, but it was close enough for us to get around for our various day-trips. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.

I was looking to get away from the daily grind, having experienced some recent loss of relatives, and feeling the stress that comes with it. I decided to randomly take a trip, by the ocean. Once I arrived, I couldn't help but notice the spectacular view of the ocean, from my cottage. A tiny river was flowing beside the cottage, with a little path adjacent to the other side of it. The manager Kate greeted me and was super friendly and understanding. The cottage had everything you could need while away. Plenty of towels, dishes, etc., right down to tea and coffee. I can't stress enough how immaculate the place was. I actually didn't want to leave. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will most definitely be back. Hopefully sooner than later.

Had a great stay at The Anchorage Cottages in Hubbards, N.S. Very clean and quiet. Everything was perfect when we arrived. Thank you for the upgrade, we so very much appreciated it!!! Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend these cabins to all ages. The hosts are very down to earth and very accommodating .Thank you folks for a back home experience.

My partner and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend away from the city enjoying the south shore’s natural sights! The cottages made a comfortable place to rest — we especially enjoyed walking down toward the water to watch the sunset at night.

my husband and I came here for our honeymoon they upgraded us at no extra cost we enjoyed being here very peaceful and quiet i would highly recommend this property ....thanks we will be back again
