Amazing Beach Cottage@Cinnamon Shore w/ Access to Resort-Like Amenities

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We do love this rental because of the extra beds without it being a full 3bdrm. Unfortunately there are a few things that are dissatisfying. The water pressure in the master is too low in the shower but then way too strong in the guest bathroom. The sink pressure and faucet in the kitchen is unbearable. It doesn’t have a normal flow and shoots so strong it’s impossible to do dishes.

Our older two loved the bunk beds in the loft area, and our youngest enjoyed having a room to himself in his pack and play. It was so helpful to have a half bath downstairs, and then two full bathrooms upstairs with the large bedrooms. The location was perfect; right up at the front and easy to get to the dining options at Cinnamon Shores North and just a short golf cart ride to the beach. The space was clean and well maintained. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend bringing ear plus or a white noise machine. While there was no noise from outside, the beds were all a little squeaky so any tossing and turning would wake us up. Even still, we hope to stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a long weekend with our 2 year old. It met our needs and felt comfortable. Plenty of space upstairs and downstairs. The house was in good condition overall but had a good amount of wear and tear. It was very “bare bones” in terms of what was supplied but it was sufficient. There were minimal comfort/decor features at the house to make it feel cozy. There weren’t any blankets on/near the couch, there were no bathroom mats in front of sinks (only one outside each shower). The mat near front door was not grippy so we had to move it out of the way so our son didn’t slip every time. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and pots/pans, etc. but no pantry staples besides crawfish seasoning and 3 shakers of pepper (no salt).There was some construction next to the property but nothing major and was done by 6pm. The recycling or trash truck came around 6:20am Friday morning to pickup the commercial or construction trash which is right across from the property so that was very loud.Overall the house was good for our visit and as described.

Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy our time at Cinnamon Shore, but this time came up a bit short in regards to the house we stayed in. First off, there was definitely a roach problem. Right when we first walked in (which I am assuming it was freshly cleaned because I got a text when we could come), there were 3 roaches we saw on the floor immediately. We cleaned them up. And roaches kept appearing. Not only dead, but alive. From huge ones to small tiny ones. One evening a huge one ran across my husbands foot in the living room. It was really gross to wonder how dirty the condo is/had been with this roach problem. Secondly, above the shutters on the windows going up the stairway, there was what looked like mold growing above them. I tried to tell myself it was paint or something, but it definitely looked like mold the more my husband and I looked at it. I have pictures of multiple roaches and the mold. The window shade on the front door did not function. The hardware on the front door was loose and kept pulling out. Lastly, I texted the office after we left because we accidentally forgot two things. One was my sons stuffed animal and the second was the money my daughter got from the tooth that she lost during our stay. I told them where the money was, they said they would check but never got back with me. So, the experience was a bit disappointing this go round.

Everything was very clean, and the property was spacious; easily fit, three adults, and four children. I was a little disappointed. There was no bathtub to bathe the kids after the beach and pool, but I should’ve checked the listing before booking Call the lawn guys. Were there the entire first day laying fertilizer and then mulch so the smell was pretty strong and they were strangers right outside our window, but they apologized to cashed up as quickly as possible. It is very close to town center and all of the amenities, only far from the beach is fine with the golf cart. There were no dish towels or beach towels for the guests to use only bath towels, so bring your own! Would stay here again when my babies are older, and don’t need a bathtub!

Because of it we could enjoy back or front balconies due to noise, construction people, trucks , and everything else.

Everything was very nice and the kitchen had everything I needed on the nights that we cooked. Plenty of towels as well. I also liked how close we were to the main center where the restaurants were. There was construction going on around us, which isn’t ideal, but it’s not a deal breaker and we would definitely go back. The only thing in the house that I noticed was off was the lights on the secondary bathroom upstairs flickered a lot when turned on, & the window shades for the doors that led outside were either broken or hard to work with.

Listing warns about it so we called and was only told about a house 2 doors down that was being finished on the inside. NOT about the huge 3 story project across the street. Very noisy and lots of equipment/workers surrounding house. Also, nmsster shower was unusable as there was no water pressure.
