Stayed Jul 16, 2021Overall, we enjoyed our stay but the place wasn't quite what we had expected. It was advertised as having lake access and being a great place to swim from the private dock. However, even when we booked, the lake would not have been swimmable due to toxic algae blooms. Before we checked out, we found out from the hotel next door that there is another lake nearby (Blue Lakes) where all the locals go to swm. Wish we would have known about that earlier. Would recommend staying here but then going to Blue Lakes for water sports during the summer months. Otherwise, the place was very nicely decorated, had beautiful views of the lake, and the host was welcoming and communicative. One small recommendation would be to add a deadbolt to the front door. The door just had a keypad and would lock automatically when shut, but would be nice to be able to lock it from the inside too.

Stayed Jul 26, 2021Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Angelique's adorable Tiny Haven. Our family of 4 and little dog stayed in Cottage 18. Loved our pontoon boat experience. Also enjoyed a little volleyball and badminton on the lawn in the afternoon and s'mores around the firepit at night. We'll be back for sure!

Stayed Jun 18, 2021The cottage we stayed in was very nice inside. You can tell they put time into remodeling all the smaller units, some still in process. The check in process was strange because this place was tucked back into a driveway that didn’t really look like a driveway at first. The “ lake access” was not accessible because of the foamy, toxic algae that was all over the shoreline. Couldn’t even swim from the dock. If I had the extra money I would’ve rented one of the boats, but the price was just too high per hour. The town… “Nice “ Ca, not so nice. A very run down, nothing to do town with lots of tweaky looking people everywhere. Nothing to do in town at all besides the couple of parks they had for the kids. If you have your own boat, this would be a good place to go spend the day on the water. The owner was very nice, and the place has potential for sure. A couple improvements: rebuild the dock to give guests another option of sitting and enjoying the lake. Maybe better rates on the rentals too. I would also invest in building a bbq area at the cottage site, and better reckroom are for entertainment.

Stayed May 14, 2021Angelique was super flexible with our schedule as we were fishing a 3 day catfish derby . I had a place for other site book for months and it cancelled because the dock was not safe to use . Low level of the lake was the cause . . Lots of water at her dock . We where 1st people to stay in unit 18 .it was very well put together with a great layout and all the basics were stocked

Stayed Apr 30, 2021For small Cottages located along the big lake, we enjoyed everything about this place. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Plus they provide water toys if needed.
