Adorable Updated Cozy Cottage set on Lake Wisconsin's Sunset Bay

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay! The best stocked rental we have ever stayed at. Host was easy to get a hold of and she checked on us after a storm. The lake was fun and we caught a wide variety of fish. Right down the road from a great restaurant, Fish Tales. We will be back!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners are very kind and responsive and the property was well stocked with everything needed to enjoy a nice weekend at the lake. We rented a pontoon from Burhop's which was only a few minute drive away and that was a great way to explore the rest of the lake. We would certainly stay here again.

Cozy cottage that was very well laid out and thoughtfully appointed. The owners provided clear instructions on how everything worked and responded promptly when we had a question. It was too chilly to take advantage of any of the lake recreation equipment, but we did enjoy the tranquil view of the lake.

The cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed. We had 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog for a ski weekend. It’s fairly close to Devil’s Head and was a great place to relax after a day out in the cold.

Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful cottage in November. The host is very attentive to every detail. We even got to enjoy some lake time in the cold and snow. This is a must place to stay any time, year round. We will definitely be back.

Incredibly clean. Smelled wonderful upon our arrival. Great notes and instructions for use of everything onsite. Very comfortable furniture inside and out. Loved the fenced in yard for our dog. Loved our stay and we’ll be back with our full family next time.

The house & view were both beautiful!

We had a wonderful time at the cozy cabin. They had everything you would need/want and more (kyacks, paddle boat, games large yard). The cabin is updated and very comfortable. We were close to so many places to go and things to do. We would stay here again.

Perfect get alway. Loved that they had paddle boards, kayaks, etc. to use. Absolutely beautiful views and comfortable accommodations.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners were very easy to work with and very respondive to our needs. The pictures on the website did not show that the house was right next to a boat club with many boats docked very close to the house which made it a little noisy sometimes. I would recommend this place to other renters.

Charming, pet friendly, lakefront cottage on Lake Wisconsin. This was a second stay and will be our go-to location when visiting Wisconsin.

We absolutely loved the views. Great property and very responsive host.

We loved everything about this cottage, inside and out. There is a small sandy beach area to get the kayaks into the water and surprisingly there were NO mosquitos. It is a short walk to the Supper Club where we had brunch but chose to have the rest of our meals hanging out on the beautiful deck right on the water at the cottage. Every evening was spent by the well-stocked fire pit.

What a beautiful cozy lakehouse!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. Everything about this home was perfect. This lakehouse emminated nostalgia. My family was able to make wonderful memories that we will cherish forever. The complimentary amenities added a caring touch. I loved that we were able to bring our dog. And my kids couldn't get enough of the dock and water. The hosts were easy to communicate with. We will definitely be coming back again!

Wonderful stay!

The house was clean and well taken care of. There were lots of fun activities to do in the lake. We enjoyed the swim mat, kayaks, and paddle boat. Kris even checked in on us when the area was under a tornado warning. We would stay here again!

Cabin was great. Just right for 2 couples. Deck was great. Nice firepit, but too hot for a fire. Dock could use an upgrade, but we managed. Did some boating. Caught a few fish. Watched the fireworks, from the boat, although you could watch them from the cabin if you liked. In perfect location for that. Had a good time. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a really nice visit at Lake Haven. Beautiful Wisconsin River to swim in. Very peaceful.

it was a very nice stay - would be little hard to get in an out of water for a kiddo I think, but ok for me. The dog loved it easy in an out and whole yard to run around in.

Loved this lake home! Views were beautiful and it’s right in the water with some water amenities. Hosts were very accommodating and great communication! Would highly recommend staying here and would love coming back!

We had someone who wanted to fish, someone who wanted to just relax and a dog. This home was perfect for everyone! 10 species of fish were caught. The view and firepit were perfect for relaxing and our dog loved the fenced yard and extra toys. The owners thought of everything to make us comfortable too. Very well stocked including snacks and water! We definitely plan on returning. Thanks Kris!!

Beautiful property! The lake was frozen and snow covered, exactly what we wanted for a Winter and Christmas feel! Kris, the host, decorated the inside for the holidays with cute throw blankets and pillows, bedding, and a lit Christmas tree. The Cottage is even cuter in person. Everything was labeled with clear instructions. Very clean and well thought out. We definitely would stay here again. We are hoping to come back in the summer and use all the outdoor amenities!

The WI weather decided to be super cold but it didn't deter us. My kids and I enjoyed checking out the area, hiking and having a carry-in from Fitz's. Excellent food. The home is situated just a few feet from the water with a great view. The updates to the home are creative and really well done. Everything worked perfectly and looked amazing. Unfortunately the furnace did have to work overtime to keep it warm, but there is also a little electric fireplace for warmth and ambiance.

Very beautiful property over the lake Wisconsin. Small but nicely decorated and clean property. Views are gorgeous! This will be a fantastic place in summer. We missed having a dishwasher. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience.

You can tell the owners put a lot of thoughtfulness and love into this home. They thought of everything to make this a comfortable stay-coffee bar, fire place, and cute rockers on the deck. We enjoyed looking out on the lake and our dog loved running around in the yard.

The Cozy Cottage was perfect for our weekend away with the pups! The owners thought of everything in this super cute cottage! The lake is beautiful and the location has so much to offer - hiking, winery, good food, and great scenery. We will be back this summer!

I spent 4 days here and it was great. Everything looked clean and new. Believe the pictures! The available kitchen wares, games, paper products, towels/linens, etc were organized and provided everything we needed. The indoor space was roomy enough for the 2 of us - would be comfortable for family or 2 couples. The outdoor space was fantastic, with different seating options, gorgeous views of the lake, fire pit, and small side lawn. We didn't use the grill or kayaks, but they were also clean and well kept. Honestly, the most well stocked, cleanest, most comfortable VRBO I can remember staying at. It was a perfect blend of easy to find, right on a main road - but still feeling private and secluded The host Kris was perfect - communicating quickly and clearly.

We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful cabin. The details Kris includes are appreciated. We walked into the cabin in the afternoon (super easy check-in) greeted with a basket of goodies with a card and electric candles glowing. The candles turned on/off automatically each day, what a great ambiance they offered. This cabin is the cleanest I've encountered using sites like VRBO. The style is 'comfort' while 'chic' and all the linens are of top notch hotel quality. Puffy, soft, white towels and clean crisp bedding with white bedspreads. The kitchen is stocked with all basic needs - coffee maker, tea kettle, plates/bowls, glasses, silverware, pots/pans, etc. It's a full kitchen so you can cook to prepare meals. Bathroom is surprisingly roomy! Kris uses space so efficiently. There is plenty of counter space for all bathroom items a gal uses. There was PLENTY of hot water, there were 3 humans staying at the cabin and we could all shower without running out of water (and without hurrying!). Bedrooms both had ceiling fans - thank you! We like air circulation so this was appreciated. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of pillow styles/choices to find the right one for you. The outdoor area has plenty of seating for enjoying the view of Lake Wisconsin. The nice touch for providing doggie doo bags was appreciated! They have plenty of games for family fun time. We really enjoyed our stay!

Looked exactly as listed. Cute and cozy. Communication was easy with owner. Loved the fenced in area for our dog. Great experience.
