Adirondack Mountains Cottage Near Gore Mountain!

Loved the birds and the river. Cottage had everything I could possibly need.

We have stayed several times in this home. This was our first time visiting in spring time. The home is beautifully situated directly on the Hudson. The river melt running by was amazing. It was a beautiful sight to wake up to out the primary bedroom sliding glass doors.The home is a quaint Adirondack home with every cooking utensil and appliances one could possibly need; perfect for home cooking, if desired. Or if dining out is preferable: Warrensburg, Lake George, Bolton Landing, Gore are all driving distance and have dining options to meet most budgets and tastes. The home has plenty of outdoor seating options. It has a gas grill for cooking and all the necessary grilling utensils. It also has a nice firepit with ample dry wood available for use. This place is just a gorgeous to hang out. I can't think of a single thing the owner hadn't thought of. I'd recommend this home to anyone looking to get away from life for a while. We are looking forward to staying again at some point in the future.

This is a lovely little cabin on the Hudson River. I don't think i've ever been to a rental that the kitchen came so well equiped from seasonings to cooking oils, even coffee and tea. You don't usually see a blender or mixer but yes they were there!

Peaceful.... This is my second time back and I loved it as much as the first time.

Easy to get to yet very serene. Anything you want or need was provided in the cabin.

Lovely property right on the river with great views of the river from the house and patio. Kitchen is airy and well stocked and the patio is beyond nice, partially covered so you can sit out even if it's raining. We really enjoyed the nice fire pit and firewood is plentiful. House was clean and cozy. Lake George is very close and the Lake Placid/Au Sable area is only about an hour away and a very pleasant drive. Highly recommended.

This was such a great house for a weekend getaway with my teenage kids. The firepit area was so cozy and we had the best time hiking down to the river. Highly recommend!

Only thing that would be better is if I owned it.

We had at great stay at the river. Our family of four fit comfortably in this great cabin with awesome views of the river. The place was well stocked with just about everything we could need. It was a short three night stay with a day trip to Lake George and another trip to Great Escape. Easy drive to both. We enjoyed the area but the highlight was just being at the cabin. We appreciated the hummingbirds keeping us company on the deck along with numerous other birds stopping at the feeders. Thanks to host for creating that environment. We would definitely stay again next time we are in the area. Thanks Pam!

Our stay at the cabin was everything we could have asked for and more. Welcoming, relaxing and inspiring. Waking up to birdsong and the sound of the river was wonderful. The view was beautiful. We loved hanging out on the deck and took full use of the comfy furniture under the covered part of the deck on many afternoons and evenings. The cabin had everything we needed for our temporary home away from home. Pam thought of everything and was very quick to respond if we had any questions. The only downside I can think of was that our cell phones with Verizon didn't work at the cabin. If ever we are back in the area, I will certainly book here again.

We had a wonderful week at the cabin. It was very tranquil and very relaxing. Loved watching the hummingbirds and chipmunks. The sound of the river was so relaxing and Lake George is just minutes away. Pam was a great communicator and had some great suggestions for local restaurants. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend and would love to go back in the fall.

Cozy small house to stay for family with little kids. The house super clean and well stuffed. Bring food with you because the grocery shop and the restaurant 20-30 minutes driving.

My family came here for Easter, and our son’s birthday. It was perfect. Highly recommend.

We wanted to a cozy winter getaway during Christmas. This place fit the bill. Pros:-Pam was very responsive and had decorated the entire place with cute Christmas trees/ornaments. She even left a welcome gifts for us. The entire cottage was very cute.-Place was perfect size for us: 2 adults and 1 child. It's a small space but has a great outdoor area you can enjoy. We didn't get to use it much since it was so cold, but it was still nice having it. -Location was great if you want to ski at Gore & also have access to Lake George (midway point)-Abundant heaters for when it gets super cold like when we visited.-Kitchen well-stocked-Incredible view of the river. Very relaxing.Not a deal breaker but some things to consider:-Personally think this place would feel very small if you had more than 4 people considering that there is only 1 bathroom. Of course, if you are out most of the day, prob a non-issue.-Smaller bedroom was surprisingly cold even with the heater. -No drinking water filtration so if that's important to you, bring a Brita filter like we did.Overall a very pleasant stay!

Definitely rustic, but good rustic. Enjoyed setting on the porch watching the river. Well set up. Everything you would need was provided. High quality linens and towels.just show up with your clothes and groceries and relax.

We loved our stay! The place was in a great location with a gorgeous view of the river. Well stocked on spices and kitchen items, a great spot for morning coffee on the porch, and the gifts were a lovely touch. The bird feeder outside the bedroom was a great way to wake up! I’d definitely love to book here again.

Older cabin but very well maintained and stocked. Right on the Hudson River. Definitely a great place to relax and unwind. One of our better VRBO experiences.

This property was beautiful and just as magnificent as the pictures! The cottage is charming with every detail thought of! You feel welcome from the moment you step inside. The host is incredibly thoughtful with the number of conveniences that are there, you really only need to bring yourself. My husband and I needed a relaxing get-a-way, and this was ideal. Beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and unwind. We will definitely be reserving again. Top-notch host!
