Abaco Surfside - Elegant Water View Home With Private Pool

While the indoor space was not huge, the outdoor space made up for it. We were not there to be inside. The pool was perfect, and the different seating set-ups, the dining area, and the bistro lights all made a huge impact. We had adults and children, and everyone loved it. The pool deck patio could use a bit of a sprucing up, but flip-flops helped. Would rent again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property needs quite a bit of attention and repairs. We had several issues throughout our 7 night stay (running water ran out on day 3, dishwasher did not work, internet was so slow that it was useless, deadbolt was corroded inside the door). The property management company was helpful and responsive. The running water was repaired and dishwasher and was repaired and then later replaced after it stopped working again. The deck is in serious disrepair and needs to be replaced (boards are uneven or broken, paint is peeling). Our children tripped and got splinters from it. Many outdoor furniture pieces are visible broken and unusable. The BBQ grill was covered in rust. The management company replaced it on the 5th day of our stay. The issues really put a damper on our vacation. One other thing to note is the property is actually south of Sea Spray Marina. The map view shows it more centrally located (north of Sea Spray Marina and east of Firefly), however it is on the southern end of the island (south of Sea Spray Marina). We loved the location, so it was not a problem for us, but just something to note if location is important to you. A/C's worked great--kept the home nice and cool! Loved hearing the ocean from the deck area!

The view was remarkable and the sound of the waves crashing was the our music 24/7. We are so grateful to have found this treasure and had a family reunion that was a memory we will cherish forever. I will hope to come back to Abaco Surfside sooner than later. Thank you Alise for the pack-n-play. We had to leave earlier than expected due to our flight time changing, so weren't able to have Alise and her husband transport us to the ferry on the 28th. I did leave messages with Steve to no avail, but no worries, we found a ride and all went well. Again, thank you to the Nottage family for sharing their delightful home with us. It was Fabulous!!! ps. The beds were so comfortable:)

The interior worked great for us as two couples, but with the two additional loft bedrooms, you could definitely add more. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.
