Stayed Apr 17, 2026Overall the stay was excellent. Very comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen etc. Good communication from the host. Close to where we needed to be for an activity we were attending at the weekend. A couple of suggestions would be - for the kitchen- some form of scales and a measuring jug. The stairs- due to being a cottage was quite steep, some form of grab rail on the wall would be useful? Also- the bath is quite deep- to help getting in and out the shower- some form of grab rail in the bathroom would be ideal- and maybe a slip mat in the bath. .

Stayed May 25, 2025Lovely cottage in a great location, 5 mins in one direction to Lyndhurst, 5 mins in the other into the forest. The cottage was beautifully decorated and well equipped. Lisa stayed in touch with lots of helpful info and left some great pub recommendations in the info pack!

Stayed Jun 6, 2024Brackenberry Cottage is located in the heart of Lyndhurst and provides a perfect location for discovering all the New Forest has to offer. It is clean and comfortable with a lovely garden area to sit in on a sunny day. Lyndhurst itself is a busy town and the location is in a busy area but despite that we really enjoyed our stay and being able to walk to the HIgh St and Bolton's Bench was a bonus.
