Great location for walking to the beach and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood, perfect for taking evening walks to see the sunset. Great little cottage.

Our family decided to stay on the East Coast this summer instead of heading to the mountains in Colorado. With a bit of hesitation (especially on my part), we booked the Salt Box on a whim — and what a happy surprise it turned out to be!From the moment we walked through the door, it felt like a little slice of heaven. Melissa has thought of absolutely everything a family could need — from soft, fluffy towels and pillows to sand-resistant beach towels, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, a beach wagon, and every beach toy imaginable. Nothing was overlooked.I’m extremely particular when it comes to cleanliness and comfort, and this place truly exceeded all of my expectations. Not a cobweb in sight — just a beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully decorated space that instantly made us feel at home.I was a little worried about not having a full stove or oven, but it turns out we didn’t even miss it! There was a hot plate perfect for pancakes or anything simple we wanted to make. And the location? Absolutely ideal — just a short stroll to the beach, which made everything so easy and relaxed.We honestly can’t say enough good things about our stay and about Melissa. Her care and attention to detail made all the difference. We left feeling inspired and are even dreaming of finding our own little spot to create something just as special.

My family of four spent an amazing week at the Salt Box. We've rented a dozen of homes around Pine Point over the years, and this is probably our favorite -- we'll be back! Highlights include- Location - You can't beat it. Just off a quiet street. Easy parking. Easy public path to the stunning beach. A 5 minute walk to Salty Bay, the Bait Shed, Stern Seafood and many more outstanding restaurants. - The house is super clean. Fresh linens, sparkling bathroom and kitchen. It's kept in very nice condition.- Fantastic communication with Melissa, the owner. She gave very clear instructions at the outset, checked in a couple of times to see if we needed anything, and was always super fast to respond. The gold standard for a host!- The beds were super comfortable. Two adults in the master, and twin beds for each kid. Plenty of space to hang your clothes, or store them in drawers. It's a cozy home, but very efficient. Just the right amount of space for a stay at the beach. Thanks again for a memorable vacation! We'll be back for sure!

I couldn’t recommend this property more! The house was perfect for my family of 4. SO close to the beach. The owners were extremely communicative and check in was a breeze. Overall, highly recommend!
