Alburgh, Vermont
Located on the west shore of Alburgh just north of North Hero, facing Isle LaMotte. This gorgeous 45-acre site was once a farm that rented summer cottages since the early 1950's. Over the decades, the cottages have been rebuilt and recently totally upgraded for today's guests. Many of our guests comment on how much they enjoy the peace and quiet they find here. We agree, and that's why we choose to live on the site during the rental season!

Very nice place with top of the line kitchen equipment. Nice walking path right on property which abuts State Park. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others. I might come back with my extended family.
Exceptionally clean & smooth process. Perfect for a quiet getaway.
This place this place has everything everything that you need for your stay and it is extremely clean and comfortable !
Cute cottage that could use a little up-grade. The furniture was outdoor living style, it’s nice for the sunroom but the “living room needs a comfortable couch and chair. The dining table could be a bit more substantial. And the AC unit in the master bedroom was noisy. Ideas for shade on the deck…a well placed tree could do wonders! All in all we enjoyed our stay!
This is a lovely place to spend time. The cottage faces the lake and the sunsets are amazing. It is quiet and peaceful, and there is easy access to the State Park at the end of the street. The cottage is well equipped and the owner is responsive and helpful. We plan to return, just thinking about the peace and quiet will help us get through the rest of the summer.
We had a great stay at David’s place. Everything was clean and we loved going for walks to the park.
My wife and I enjoyed the location because it is not to far from so many attractions in many different directions. Restaurants, little farm stands, convenient stores, NY state, Boarder crossing into Canada etc. We had a wonderful time biking, and then relaxing on the deck which overlooks lake Champlain. Just so Peaceful. Thank you Dave for your awesome hospitality.
David was a great host; the cottage was extremely clean and welcoming, the location is spectacular! Highly recommend and certainly plan to return.
Exactly as advertised. Quiet, beautiful view, and very cool little cottage. I’ve been to Burlington before, but never the islands. I cannot express how beautiful it is there. We’ll be back
Thanks again David :We already booked for next year before our trip ended! Enough said..
