55- Lake & Bourbon Trail Getaway

Sweet, peaceful, comfortable place to stay. Cottage was as described in the advertisement. I’ve rented a number of cottages at Edgewater and #55 has become my new favorite cottage. I’ll be back!

I rented this place for Saturday to Monday stay. It was our 2nd Anniversary. We had a great time the place was just as described. Except for the Google directions took us an hour in the wrong direction. Based on the link in your email.

Good and as advertised

My husband and I came down from Ohio for a weekend away in bourbon country. Great central location. Loved the view and the hot tub! House was clean and bed comfy. Which is alway super important. Would stay here again.

This cottage was cute, comfortable, clean, quiet and cozy. It’s on a cul-de-sac so we didn’t notice any traffic. There were 5 of us (ages 16+). We used it as a home base while exploring other parts of the state. If you want to get on the lake, call the marina several days in advance since reservations are only taken by phone or in person. We called the morning of and thankfully got the last boat available. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at cabin 55 with 3 girlfriends for a low key weekend. The location is fantastic. Very quiet, relatively remote with gorgeous scenery. Super close to the marina if you want to do some water sports. Minimal options for restaurants but only about 35 minutes to Louisville if you want some additional choices and some night life. The cottage was well stocked with everything needed for a stay. Lots of seating room inside and out. The hot tub on the deck was fabulous but bring bug spray because it’s on the edge of the woods and fairly popular with mosquitos. House was clean and in good working order. Only reason for the 4-star versus 5-star was the age of the house. It’s an older unit and could use some updates.

This place is wonderful and in a perfect location for a quick walk to the lake. You can see the lake from the back porch with deer and birds actively in the area!

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend. The cottage was clean and peaceful.
