We had a great stay. Location was perfect and the cottage had everything we needed.

Beach Bunny Cottage is the perfect Santa Barbara getaway. The house had everything we needed and more! A perfect location with walking distance to the beach, the Funk Zone and to State Street. Very quiet street during the day and night. We will stay here again! Bunny was amazing for checking in and out!

This was the perfect place for a family of four. Bunny was very accommodating. The place is so close to the beach and downtown Santa Barbara. I would definitely recommend making this your home base for your Santa Barbara vacation.

Bunny is buttoned up! She pays close attention to detail and the end result is, a perfect place to stay in Santa Barbara !! Everything in the cottage is crisp, clean and very accommodating for guests. Also the cottage is situated so that you can walk to town, the beach and the Funk Zone where the best restaurants, brewery's, wine tastings and bakery's are!!We'll be back!

We were bummed by all the rain but the cottage was the perfect cozy spot to relax and just spend time together. We enjoyed the fire, ample blankets, comfortable furniture, puzzles, games and reading. Lots of great restaurants nearby for easy take out too!

The host, Bunny, was very welcoming, she showed us around the property, which was very cute and very well kept. Bunny also gave us ideas of things to do in the area which we appreciated.

If we were ever to visit Santa Barbara again, we would definitely try to book here again.

Everything was perfect. Great location! Plenty space for a family of 4, kids age 4 and 7. I would definitely come back. Bunny was lovely and takes great care of the property.

The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood perfect for walking to the harbor, Stearn’s Wharf and State Street. Inside it’s very charming and comfortable. We enjoyed the gas fireplace ever so much during our December stay. We had everything we needed for our 11 day stay. Bunny was friendly and helpful and always on call for any needs or questions that popped up. If we return, we’ll definitely book The Bunny Cottage again!

Super sweet and you can ask her any question while you stay.She also has everything you need for a wonderful stay AND Her husband is super nice as well!!! We had an absolutely amazing stay at Beach Bunny's cottage. The home was just as described and in a perfect location - we walked and biked EVERYWHERE. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was SO comfortable. It was very clean which is so important to me, and just a wonderful overall place.

Bunny takes pride in ensuring her guests are well informed on all the amenities provided at her home. She takes pride and genuinely cares about her guests to ensure an enjoyable stay.

The cottage rental was very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the back deck.

The cottage is adorable… Exactly like the pictures beach.. A nice walk to the harbor and to the beach. The owner was lovely and met us there to give us the key and show us around which I really appreciated . The kitchen has everything you need. Overall, the location was fabulous as was the darling cottage.

Our most recent stay was in June of 2025 (how did I wait so long to do this review?). This is our second stay at Beach Bunny Cottage and we loved it as much as the first time. The property has a great location, within a five minute walk to the beach area, restaurants, and shops. The area is easy to navigate on foot, and the interstate is nearby if you want to take a day trip. There's also a train station a few blocks away if you prefer to travel without a car. There's plenty to see and do on foot.Bunny has created a charming space, clean, safe, and with everything you need. The front and back decks offer quiet and calm. Two bathrooms are a plus, as are all the household amenities. Bunny knows about everything the area, and she's got great recommendations. One thing we'd suggest is making a reservation for Lil Toot, the cute tour boat at the harbor. The route changed over the last two years and we learned more about the harbor area, and wildlife from the crew. This is the perfect place to stay in Santa Barbara surrounded by beautiful neighborhoods, restaurants, and shops. Book it!

Beautiful cottage within walking distance from so much! Clean, comfortable and full of useful things that made our vacation easy and hassle free.

What a great stay! This is such a convenient location; we got a lot of steps in walking to Stearn's Wharf, the Harbor/Breakwater. Went to Dart coffee twice, there's a cute garden across the street you can take your coffee to. The Trolley Tour was cool and don't miss the Courthouse. Loved Riviera Bar, McConnell's Ice Cream, Blue Door antiques. Don't miss Bettina pizza, Arnoldi's, and Rudy's. It was so convenient having 2 bathrooms. The mini splits worked great for AC. Bunny has a great fan in the bedroom which was perfect for white noise! The back deck off the bedroom was great for coffee and wine. Quiet neighborhood-we love walking around looking at all the gorgeous and unique vegetation/flowers. A perfect time for our 30th anniversary! :)

The beach bunny cottage was an absolute perfect choice for myself and 2 granddaughters, ages 12 &15. The location on a lovely tree lined street was perfect and the walk to the beach was easy, even carrying beach gear.The cottage has EVERYTHING you could possibly need if heading to the beach, from chairs to towels and even a cooler. Everything else is great in the cottage from a well stocked kitchen to bathrooms with plenty of towels and very nice amenities. I can't say enough positive things about this place. I hope to return some time in the future !!

This is a charming property very close to the beach and within walking distance to a very vibrant area with things to do for adults and kids. The cost was very reasonable and Bunny was very accessible and responsive. If you are sensitive to light, bring an eye mask for the primary bedroom. There is a small, but bright east facing window! The kids loved the upstairs space! Thank you!

Bunny is an excellent host. During our introduction with the property I keep hearing “don’t worry about this, that, or the other - you are on vacation”!! Who says this??? Bunny does. Her property is very close to the beach, the funk zone and State Street. It was very clean and had all the convinces of home. The cottage is perfect for a small group or family. I highly recommend you stay here on your next visit to Santa Barbara.

My daughter wanted to spend her birthday in Santa Barbara. The upstairs loft in the cottage was perfect retreat for her and her sister, and made the weekend even more of an adventure! Bunny was thorough and responsive and takes pride in her property.

Bunny's vacation cottage was so far beyond my expectations that I can't think of enough nice things to say about it. It was larger than I expected, beautifully furnished and appointed, super comfortable (the furniture, the beds, the pillows...even the bathtub), and immaculately clean. The heaters worked beautifully, there was a gas fireplace...it had everything. And its location just a couple of blocks from the harbor was perfect. (It's also close to a freeway entrance.) Bunny, who met us when we arrived, was incredibly gracious and welcoming. I have literally not even one tiny complaint about her wonderful home. It was all absolutely perfect from start to finish. Thank you, Bunny!!

Beach Bunny Cottage is the most charming little vacation cottage ever! Bunny greeted us at the door for check-in and gave us a run down on the amenities. It was a chilly weekend so the fireplace and heaters were so appreciated. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay - super comfy bed, lots of towels and crazy good water pressure in the shower. The location couldn’t be better. Just park the car and walk. We loved staying in Bunny’s cottage for 3 nights! We walked everywhere and came back each night to hang out in the living room after dinner. The TV worked great and there’s a lovely new gas fireplace that provided both extra heat and ambiance. Bed was super comfortable and there were lots of extra linens and supplies to make our stay just like home. Interactions with Bunny were a delight from beginning to end. Thanks, Bunny!

We really enjoyed staying here. The cottage is very comfortable with a nice patio in the back. The location is perfect to walk to the waterfront, the beach, Cabrillo Blvd and State St (location of all the restaurants) and easy access to Hwy 101 (north and south).

Bunny was a terrific host. Cottage was spotless. Prime location near beaches, marina, pier, and downtown. Cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, including beach chairs, beach towels, and well stocked kitchen. We cooked several meals in. Huge master suite. Cute little loft area with two twin beds was perfect for two teens. We will be back!

My husband and I came for a few days with our 4 year old. The place was clean and comfy, we had everything we needed, and there was plenty to do within walking distance. Bunny and her team were very sweet and made sure everything ran smoothly. Would recommend!

I loved that Bunny went out of her way to check-in with me prior to our stay and to make sure we were well aware of the upstairs loft and that it isn't super easy for just anyone to get upstairs. It is the perfect getaway for a visit and I didn't think the loft was hard to negotiate (I'm in my 50's), but I appreciate the heads up.

Bunny's place was so cute and suited our needs perfectly, Has everything you need! location perfect short walk to the ocean and harbor. Property exactly as described, best for two adults in Master, upstairs has two bunks but low ceiling and small staircase. Location is incredible, two blocks to beach, 4 block to State street. Checkin and out was simple, owner was responsive to all communications and requests, will stay again with wife in near future

We had an amazing time at the Bunny Cottage in Santa Barbara. The property was exactly as described and even exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for my spouse and I, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. We loved the back patio which was spacious and had plenty of seating. The host, Bunny, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out, and even gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The location was ideal, close to everything. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a very short, 3 night stay which proved to be excellent. The cottage was clean well equipped and the location was brilliant. The hosts, Bunny and David were very friendly and accommodating allowing us to leave our luggage in the cottage as we were early for check in. Finally, we were driven to the railway station by the host.Really amazing

Beach Bunny Cottage was clean, comfortable and well-stocked in a semi-urban neighborhood. The spiral staircase to the two loft beds is narrow. Easy street parking. Walkable to Main Beach and central Funk Zone. The only downsides were the missing BBQ (in the VRBO listing) and the slow, intermittent wifi. Bunny was very easy to communicate with and will share a lot of local information and recommendations. Would stay again!

The cottage is absolutely beautiful and very well thought out. It has everything we needed and the location was excellent - just 10 mins to the nearest beach. very comfy bed and couch. We loved our stay and just wished we were staying longer.

We loved our stay in this wonderful, beautifully done little house. You’ll find everything you need in there and will be in a great location. My wife told me to say that the beds were really comfortable and the sheets were the nicest that she’s ever slept between!

Beach Bunny Cottage is a lovely spot. Very clean and comfortable and well put together. It's perfect for a small family with kids over 7. The stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom are a little treacherous for elderly and little kids but ok for anyone in between. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen well-equipped. We really appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella as well! Great location and easy to walk to downtown or beach. Bunny was very welcoming and great to work with and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly! Stayed for a few nights to explore Santa Barbara - great to be able to walk to so much from the cottage - and to head to Channel Islands for a day trip. The cottage was perfect for our family and our boys greatly enjoyed sleeping up in the loft!
