Great place- walkable to night life if we wanted but quite neighborhood to rest as well

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was a beautiful home. Very clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need or want. We walked to the downtown area from the house. Very safe, cute and short walk to downtown. I can’t say enough good things about this house. It was just perfect.

This was an amazing find. I highly recommend due to the cleanliness, the location is ideal if you want to walk to all the bars/restaurants/shops. The house is on a quiet street but close like a 4 minute walk to the cutest downtown. The house itself was very roomy, comfortable, showers had great hot water, the living space was open and inviting. The beds were soooo comfy and the linens were fresh.

Our host was great but the bathrooms were dirty. Long black hairs in the shower and empty shower soap!

Wonderful location to downtown McKinney!

Little further from Dallas then I was hoping to be but that was on me as I should have checked location a bit better before booking. Only suggestion I would bring up would be another couch in the living room area as there was a group of us staying and no place to really sit and visit. Quiet neighborhood. Shopping and grocery close by.

Came to explore McKinney and take a Leo Ransom class. House made it a perfect weekend.

Stayed here for our son’s wedding, great location, quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of all the downtown M Kinney restaurants. Comfortable beds, good common areas. Highly recommend.

The property was exactly as advertised and very well maintained. Everything was easy to find and well equipped. A very short walking distance to the quaint town square and lots of shopping and food options!

This was a perfect spot for our small gathering of friends! We enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood, the front porch, and the short walk to downtown McKinney for food and shops. The large front living room worked great as a space for us to all spend time together. The kitchen also worked great for meals we made ourself. This property will be at the top of our list for our next weekend get-together!

The place was clean and comfortable, with a great location close to downtown. The host was very easy to communicate with, making the stay even better. Next time we need a place in McKinney, we’ll definitely stay here again if it’s available!

Location was excellent, as walking distance/close to Historic McKinney downtown. The home was well stocked in kitchen as well bathrooms/linens. Beds were comfortable, but carpet and walls were in a bit need of repainting/cleaning. Thomas was readily available for any assistance/questions and was a great host.

Quick weekend visit to see family. Great location convenient to restaurants and shopping. Clean and well kept. Rainy weather all weekend so didn’t get to use grill or porches. We’ll be back!

Very clean, location is perfect. Great outdoor patio with grill and high top fire pit. The owners were on top of any situation. House had 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms t.v.'s in all rooms!! I'm coming back!!

My husband and I stayed to visit my sister and new nephew. The house was perfect location for us to walk to town. Was also great that my sister didn’t have to bring all her baby stuff over when they came (had pack-n-play and seat). The only thing I didn’t realize was that there was no backyard. We traveled with our doodles so that was the only thing we had wished we had so they could run around. There were two parks very close by though. Would highly recommend if you are looking to stay in McKinney!

This little cottage is located only a few minutes from the downtown area. There are so many wonderful restaurants and shopping to experience in town. The house feels brand new, very clean, modern and roomy. There is one bedroom with an en suite, another bedroom with a bathroom next-door and it seems to be some office space in the third room. The kitchen was lovely, and the living room is very comfortable. Seems like a nice neighborhood, it was quiet and absolutely would stay again.

We were very happy with the house and location. Very roomy setup and close to downtown.

Immaculate, charming and spacious.It was everything advertised and more.A holiday trip where my we got our 4 generation pic, From 85 to 3 months everyone was comfortable. A treasure was left behind and hosts responded immediately and returned to us. We would return again and again.

Great Stay, will book again

House was well equipped. Park about 1-1/2 blocks nearby made it nice for walking our dog. Liked that the TV was easily linked to iPad for watching movies on various apps. Lost internet access for a while but owner got to us quickly to let us know it was provider outage; came back on line in about 6 hours.

We so enjoyed being in this home! We enjoyed our family getaway! Cooked steak, good breakfasts lots of games, and loved walking to town! It was all decked out for the holidays which made it so fun!

The host were very pro-active to ensure our stay was comfortable and communicating with them was easy and they responded quickly. Location of house was very convenient and making it very accessible to attending the wedding we went to. Spoons/The Garage Restaurant was very good for breakfast and dinner. Rick's Chophouse and Hutchins BBQ were great for dinner.

We stayed for a mother/daughter weekend and had a blast. The house has everything you need and being only two blocks from the main square and close to everything. Takes the parking stress out of a fabulous McKinney weekend. The hosts were super responsive and communicated everything upfront and were helpful with any questions we had. Will definitely be back !!

First and foremost we enjoyed a fine stay! The cottage was charming and proved to be a great base from which to explore. Top-notch location - quiet but literally just a 5 minute stroll into historic downtown and the fabulous shops, hospitality and frequent festivals. Technically it's a 3 bedroom property but may work best as a 2 double bed with a useful office/dressing room. It's all pleasantly decorated and pretty roomy. There's an easy flow from the kitchen through the diner to the generous open plan lounge and the front porch is a boon on a warm summer night after a hot Texan day. The kitchen, diner and drinks bar were well stocked with the usual, slightly mismatched, array of housewares in just about the right numbers to make life civilised. Significantly the bed in the master suite was really comfortable! I could end this review right there because we had a tremendous time and the following observations are minor details: I'm sure the host's prep is usually more thorough but the outside bins were smelly and fly friendly (like they'd missed a collection). There was an empty bottle by the bed and a random pair of black pants in a draw (unfortunately the British definition of pants). The en-suite's sink tap delivered less than a dribble of water and the shower took a while to warm up. Enjoying the back yard was not an option as the 'weather covers' had been dislodged from the seating so leaves had collected in unattractive puddles of stale water - bit of a shame.
