we were two couples each with a spaniel dog. The cottage is very dog friendly with the addition of a large field next to the cottage for dogs to run around freely. we had a lovely few days mainly walking the dogs and walking to the local pub despite the weather. Sue was on hand if we needed anything.

We really enjoyed our stay. Sue was really attentive and prepared the property well. She was available to assist us and promptly responded to messages. There is plenty of parking and the cottage is cosy and really comfortable We were impressed with the bathrooms and the kitchen had useful utensils. Our mum stayed with us and there was room for all of us. The place is really clean and the area is peaceful. I would highly recommend a stay at this cottage. You need a vehicle to get about - it really is a lovely place to stay.

The cottage is lovely. I would have given a ten, however i knocked off one for the oven which was dirty and we didnt feel we could cook a meal in it. Apart from that, everything was fine.

Stayed for 3 nights as we were visiting the area for a function. Needed something for my two Jack Russell terriers and this was perfect. Peaceful location where i could just open the door and let them out straight into a large garden and meadows beyond. Treated to the sights and sounds of a cuckoo, woodpeckers and even a fox. Plenty of parking which was handy as we arrived in two cars. Two lovely bedrooms with two great walk in showers. Ample space in the kitchen and sitting area for our needs. Would stay there again if we are in the area. Thank you

Remote, yet close to everything you need. Provided everything we needed for a short stay. Quiet countryside location, very relaxing, with garden area and small but very spacious cottage accommodation. Level access showers, and washing facilities. Everything you need.

This property is as advertised, it’s on a working farm so not super quiet but perfect for us as an energetic young family!! Gorgeous garden to explore and a well equipped kitchen kept us all happy

Peaceful location with countryside views, lovely and warm, well equipped and very mobility friendly, helpful owner, suntrap of a little garden (not fenced if you had a dog however).

Visiting friends and family, this was a great base for everywhere we wanted to go

Excellent location , nice and quiet , easy access into property. Lots of parking room for vehicles.Everything was provided , managed to cook a Christmas Dinner in the cottage with no issues. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms were large and both ensuite with walk in showers.Plenty of hot water , comfortable beds.Value for money .4 out 5 Personally i would have liked a bigger TV and bigger fridge and freezer, but we were staying over the Christmas period so we had a lot food with us. We come to Maidstone a lot to visit family, this was the first time visiting with 2 children so we needed somewhere suitable. Sue’s cottage was perfect, all on one level, 2 big walk in showers, a small living area and decent sized kitchen with all the amenities you’d need. The washer and dryer are an added bonus when travelling with kids! A lovely garden area, a morning cuppa was lovely outside, so peaceful. We will definitely return. Sue also went above and beyond and grabbed our washing off the line one day as it looked like rain - a huge help for busy parents! Thank you again Sue xx

Our stay at Marys Cottage was very lovely. Situated in the countryside of Kent - a very calm surrounding. The landlady (Sue) ist always there when needed and has great tips. We never had such a well equipped cottage, everything needed and more The kids and the dog could stroll around without harm. A lot of sights, castles and cities are within reach of approximately one hour drive. London Victoria can bei reached within one hour by train from Maidstone East. Very recommendable!!!
