House in great location

Welcoming host, spotlessly clean and very well equipped.

A lovely ‘upside down’ cottage over three floors, tucked away just behind the harbourfront buildings. Great beds, great showers, quirky, genuinely old features and overall a very nice, quiet place to stay. Despite the peace and quiet, it’s only a few steps up to the high street with all the shops, cafes, restaurants, harbour and waterfront very easily walkable. As with a lot of old places in Falmouth, there are a lot of steps both inside and out, so it wouldn’t be suitable for people with limited mobility. We didn’t really use the kitchen as we ate out whilst we were there (there are so many excellent places to eat within a couple of minutes’ walk), but the kitchen is fully equipped and spacious enough for a few people to cook and socialise in.Communication from the owner was excellent throughout, and all directions and instructions very clear. We found it was worth paying the 27 fora week’s parking in Church Street car park, which is literally steps from the front door. If navigating to it via satnav make sure it’s taking you to the car park from the north (market street) not the south, otherwise it gets very confusing very quickly!A great stay and very comfortable for our family of four.

Second time we have stayed here and it won't be the last. We love it. Loads of character, central but still quiet. Perfect!

Situated in a courtyard with several other houses just off the high street it was however a very quiet location. Many restaurants,shops and bars within 5 mins walk. Sea view from the “lookout was limited but fun to have. The two upper floors were light and airy.The whole house was comfortable and very nicely decorated.The bedrooms on the ground floor were a little dark. We had a lovely week there inspite of the mixed weather.The central location was just great and the reserved parking space a real advantage.We had some problem finding the cottage to start with because the council had recently installed a bollard to stop people driving down church St till 16.00.

Absolutely beautiful cottage that felt like home the minute we walked in. Well laid out giving everyone their own space but with lovely areas to gather together. Location perfect. Walking distance to everything, shops, pubs, restaurants etc. Exceeded expections. Thank you for having us as guests.

The cottage is beautifully decorated, a real home from home feel, high end facilities.Great location, central to Falmouth shops and harbour, but tucked away and quiet. Great view from the look out seating at the top of the cottage, beautiful harbour views.You can paddle board from the harbour, and the beach is a 15 min walk.Great restaurants near by.The host is a great communicator, prompt response and we only booked the day before arrival. Excellent value for money, cozy and comfortable stay, we will definitely return. Day trip to the Eden Project and to St Ives.

Wonderful quirky house which was perfect for our stay with the family (and dog). Well serviced and a really handy courtyard, especially having a dog.We had a lovely 11 nights in Falmouth and would certainly consider this property again when we next visit Falmouth (depending on how many of us there are next time.Thanks Joyce, and say hello to Alan!Kevin

Access was a little off putting. Problem with dishwasher replacement never did get resolved.

the property made good use of a compact characterful location. Offered all we needed for our all-too-short stay.Very centrally located for all Falmouth had to offer during the 2025 Sea Shanty weekend.

We loved the apartment in Falmouth! It was beautiful, really well set up, and super cozy. The location was perfect too. We’d come back anytime!

Located down a little lane just off the main shopping street this holiday cottage is right in the centre of the historic part of town but tucked away in a private location. It’s set over three floors with bedrooms on the ground floor and top floor, and the kitchen and bathrooms on the middle floor. The lookout seat up in the roof gives you views over the neighbouring roof out over the estuary. It’s a very lovely view! The kitchen is well equipped for self catering for a family though the dishwasher was out of action but other than that all was great!

Fantastic place to stay. Great location, so close to the centre but really quiet.Cottage was warm, great shower, comfortable beds. Love the lookout at the top.First time we’ve stayed in dog friendly accommodation and found it great.Would definitely stay again.

A cosy bolthole tucked away in the centre of town. We loved the layout and the decor and will definitely be back one day!

We had a lovely stay with our teenage son and elderly parent. The property was perfect for what we needed. A stones throw from the bustling high street, but peaceful with amazing views from the lookout. We had everything we needed and found the property A lovely place to stay.

Fantastic location near to the sea front . A little oasis .! Sitting room and kitchen both excellent and bedrooms although small were sufficient.. Would return without any doubt.
