We had a very nice stay at this rustic cottage. Very homey with rustic charm. The best part is that there is a dock to the lake, with no stairs, in the backyard. We really enjoyed launching our kayaks right in the backyard, along with swimming right off the dock. Our friend was even able to pick us up with his boat. You will trade the lake convenience for no air conditioning (but PLENTY of fans provided), no sheets, towels, toilet paper, garbage bags or washer & dryer. The host is wonderful, but watch out for the cleaning lady. We would definitely return here.
